Dr. Brandon Bell, DO

I saw him in Indianapolis. He is no longer at IU. Told me I could follow up in a week for health issues I am having. Called and they told me he was no longer there. He left and he knew he was leaving but still lead me to believe I could follow up with him. When I saw another doctor there they said that they needed me to retell my issues because he did not document them. Like nothing. Didn’t leave anything other than he saw me. Everything else he just omitted.

I spent at most 20m with Dr Bell explained 15y hormonal issues, possible prior PCOS, absent cycles, & suspected menopause. He wrote 2 referrals, 1 for bloodwork (to be done the 3 day of next cycle) and ultrasound. Cycle never came. Called bk should I should proceed? He was no longer there. I went to another gyno, who asked me 5x about conceiving, dismissed my concerns. Looked at my files: He wrote: reason for visit: irregular cycles/infertility that IM INTERESTED IN PREGNANCY, that I’m currently sexually active with 1 parter: NO, said he discussed the difficulties with conception. NO, I thought I was in MENOPAUSE. Did NOT write PCOS concerns , or Fibromyalgia & PTSD in my history. He wrote that my mother has cancer? What! THEN added a full page of a physical examination, going into detail about the health and appearance of my genitalia THAT DID NOT take place. Went to endocrine w access to bloodwork from before I saw him, I was already IN menopause at his appt. 1 YR delayed diagnosis.

I found Dr. Brandon Bell to be competent, sensitive and caring. He made my visit comfortable, treated me with respect, took his time and followed up with me as necessary. The office staff is very accommodating and polite. In all, a very efficient practice which I would recommend wholeheartedly.
