I first started seeing Dr. Derrick when she was in Augusta. The first thing I noticed was her beautiful smile when she walked into the room. She always had time to listen to me and explained everything so I could understand. I never felt rushed or as if I was wasting either my time or her time. She is truly caring and interested in me. When she moved to Aiken I tried another physician but no one was worth the effort. I will follow her to Lexington if I can find her address. No dr here is a match

Dr. Derrick informed me of a test result six months after the test was done...that I was dehydrated. I found this shocking and do not know if it was an oversight or what as she offered no explanation. Her bedside manner I found curt on two occasions. Her office staff is excellent, proficient and friendly. I have, however, moved on to a new doctor.

Dr. Derrick is a sweet and compassionate physician that listens to my concerns and takes the time to answer my questions. If I had to find something to complain about it would be that sometimes the wait in the exam room seems long, but at the same time that's not even a complaint because it means that she's giving another patient the same time and attention that she gives to me. I just count that as an extra 15 minutes, or so, to relax with a good book.

Dr. Derrick has been my and my wife’s primary care physician for nearly 5 years and we think the world of her. She has an excellent bedside manner and has always been extremely responsive to our needs/requests. My only complaint with her office is that we may have to wait a week or two to get an appointment, but I attribute this to her popularity and her dedication to giving her patients the time they deserve. Both my wife and I recommend Dr. Derrick.

I recently moved here from Illinois and met this Dr for the first time. I was very impressed with her manner and especially the time she spent with me concerning my health. After being with my former Dr for over 40 years I was concerned with finding a new one but my concerns have now been put to rest after meeting her
