This provider should not be treating veterans. He spent the whole visit speaking over the veteran who is my husband and never addressed his concerns. The provider made inappropriate comments speaking negatively about veterans in the community, spoke negatively regarding the president and the work he has done for the veterans as a way to try and get veteran votes for the election. These comments were unsolicited and totally out of line. By the end of the visit he had both my husband and myself in tears and speaking to a veterans advocate. This provider SHOULD NOT be working within the VA and especially with veterans who need a little more time and care.

I don't have a favorable opinion of Dr. Dorsay. My initial meet and greet and my annual physical; when he came into the room I didn't catch his name (it has taken me almost two weeks to figure out his name), and the most recent health related information he had on me was over 2 years old. I corrected him several times and he was argumentative. When I told him I had been referred to Physical Therapy and needed to continue, he said there was nothing in my records as to being referred to PT.

He has been my primary VA for fifteen years. Very social, and as long as I just saw him once a year and I was healthy and he ordered routine tests etc. I was OK with him. Once I needed a doctor to respond to questions, concerns, and follow through I have been very unhappy. It is not easy within the system for Veterans to change Primary Care Provider.
