He can diagnosis great but doesn’t treat well
Dr. Pasternak ran many tests and came up with many diagnoses for my child but did not fix a certain one. When I emailed him and said she was crying in pain and throwing up his one line response was “Go seek GI care elsewhere”. Blaming the patient because he couldn’t cure my child is horrific and should not treat children!

Dr. Pasternak was highly recommended to me when my son was 10 and needed a GI evaluation. Dr. Pasternak diagnosed and has since treated my son for IBD the past 8 years. He is the most caring doctor, and he is always aware of the most current treatments and options available. He listens to my son and seeks to help him live a normal, pain free life. My son has been hospitalized and undergone surgeries under Dr. Pasternak's care. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a top notch provider.

I understand doctors are busy but it's sadly not uncommon when Doctors don't find answer, they give up or say nothing is wrong. Patients with issues that are not intuitive and chronic need that doctor who will be their champion and not give up, that will network with others and use all resources at their disposal. Aside from a great front office and awesome bedside and caring manner, that is Dr. Pasternak and he has been on my TOP DOC list for over a year. .
