Dr. Bogar Garcia, MD

I waited hours in the waiting room in tears bc I was in so much pain & throwing up. Dr Garcia came & did his exam & got me pain meds & zofran. I went to get a ct scan (where I continued to puke & went back to my room. The next thing I know dr Garcia is back & is discharging me bc everything looked “good”. I asked if I could have another dose of pain meds before I left. He refused. He then wrote in my MyChart that I was a drug seeker yet he never once mentioned it to me & completely invalidated my pain. It is absolutely heartbreaking that doctors like him can throw a label like that on a patient that’s chronically ill & is there in a ton of pain looking for help. I’ve been home for a few hours now & I am still puking & still in pain. & my Covid test came back positive. So, no dr Garcia, I was not drug seeking & faking anything. Be better. Do better. Advocate & listen to your patients. Just be a kind human. Thank God I make sure to record interactions with docs bc of docs like dr Garcia
