My husband & I have been seeing Dr. Xu since 2019. Dr. Xu is very thorough in his explanations, highly competent, caring, understanding, & always a professional. We think he is the BEST cardiologist in the nation. He is FABULOUS!

I saw Dr. Xu on 11/20/19, the day after I had hernia surgery at the Hernia Center of Ohio. I couldn't drive back and my friend was waiting for me so he could drive us back home to the Chicago area. We'd been at Cleveland Clinic for almost 5 hours. Dr. Xu knew that we were anxious to get on the road but told me that if I was willing to stay for an extra half an hour that he'd go over the results of my echocardiogram with me. Fortunately my friend was okay with this. It was time well spent. Dr. Xu explained the results clearly and effectively. He answered all of my questions patiently and respectfully. This is the best experience that I've ever had with a cardiologist. Dr. Xu is a top notch cardiologist. I wish he worked at a hospital in the Chicago area! Because I had such a wonderful experience I am seriously considering having my TAVR procedure done at the Cleveland Clinic.

Had 2nd visit with Dr. Xu. What a outstanding doctor. Can’t believe there could be anyone better. Does not rush your time with him. Explains everything, so cheerful, gives option, explains HIS/our plan going forward. In 6 months follow up visit .

I saw him as a second opinion, as my original cardiologist really dropped the ball about the severity of my condition, and I can’t say enough good. Didn’t talk down to me, like so many doctors can. Very personable, and had a genuine concern for me and my condition and referred me to a top aortic surgeon for my leaky aortic valve. And even for post op a few months later, still remembered my family who came with me and a lot of the small conversations we had. Very impressed. Highly recommend him!
