Dr. Blake Landry, MD

Based on my one office visit with Dr. Landry, it was a very busy day for him with having to postpone my appointment until the afternoon due to a delivery, so his time was very limited as a result once I did get to see him. Follow-up results and communications did not go as well as expected either. I’m thinking that this doctor is very good with expected mothers, based upon reviews I had read prior to seeing him, but he doesn’t appear to have as much time to focus on middle-aged women. In conclusion, I’m thinking that It may be better to choose a Gynecologist not specializing in Obstetrics if you are older and no longer planning to have children. Also, a patient portal is highly needed at this office for more effective HIPAA-compliant communications. Only email and fax are being utilized with depending on front office staff to relate information back and forth between doctor and patient, and as a result, communications can be poor at times.

Amazing experience all around

I've been seeing Dr Landry over 12 years now. I wouldn't even consider another OB. Always friendly, and somehow remembers the smallest details of each patient, and there's a lot... His diagnoses and treatments have always been right on point. He gets you the help that you need.

You make them feel comfortable and you make sure they have the same care as everybody else... Thank you for making me a part of your experience with the ones that can’t speak or understand English... He has excellent bed side manner. Explains things in lay terms and is practical in giving advice. You can be confident he won't recommend anything unnecessary.

When Dr. Landry sees you, you will have his undivided attention. He is extremely knowledgeable, but beyond that - he can explain everything in understandable terms. Additionally, he is thorough, yet conservative with treatment. He makes me want to have another baby!

Dr. Landry is amazing. I have moved to several different states and have seen a number of OBGYN's and he is the absolute best. He has a great bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and experienced. And he genuinely cares about his patients well being and their concerns. He's also very down to earth and relatable. All three of my sisters are also his patients. He did the C-section for my twins and is a great surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an OBGYN.
