Dr. Bianca Vazquez, MD

Dr. Bianca Vasquez, M.D. was the best. She performed a difficult laparoscopic surgery on my left adrenal (adrenalectomy). It was done on July 10, and the next day I was able to be discharged. Her fingers must be very nimble and her judgement superb because it is hard to snip away fibrous adhesions between the overlying organs and yet get to the adrenal without puncturing those organs or causing excessive bleeding. Yes, Dr. Vasquez accomplished this technically difficult surgery. Most surgeons shy away from this procedure. Dr. Vasquez took time to assess my situation (adrenal belly fat, buffalo hump, multiple femur fractures from cortisol-induced osteoporosis, panic attacks, etc.), and understood the imperative for me to regain normal adrenal cortisol production. She helped me immensely. For the first time in my adult life I no longer have excess cortisol streaming into my bloodstream since the adenoma was completely resected. My gratitude is immense. Thank you, Dr. Vasquez.

Dr Vasquez is an outstanding Doctor. She is extremely caring and compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and skilled.Her staff are extraordinary. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Dr. Vazquez is truly caring and detail oriented. She truly is the best surgeon and she explained everything from top to bottom. Never once did she make my appointment feel rushed or that my questions were too much. Her staff is kind and they take the time to get to know you and connect with you as a person not just a patient. Dr. Vazquez and her team are outstanding. Having an issue with my thyroid, it was recommended that I have surgery and Dr. Vazquez was suggested to me. I am very pleased I chose to use Dr. Vazquez for my surgery in June of 2023. From my pre-surgical appointment, where all of my options were carefully explained to me, through surgery and then post surgical appointments, Dr. Vazquez and her team always provided me with the care and attention I had hoped for and expected. At every appointment, I had all of my questions answered, never felt rushed and felt comfortable with the recommendations and approach Dr. Vazquez provided. My incision area is healing really well - - and I believe that I will have no or very minor indications that I ever had surgery. I did have a minor complication about a week after the surgery and Dr. Vazquez and her team immediately found time to see me (even at the end of a full day of performing surgeries). I highly recommend Dr. Vazquez.

I would not recommend her to anyone for surgery. She performed surgery to remove my left adrenal gland. I saw her in office before surgery and never saw her again. Not in the hospital before or after surgery or for the follow up appt. She was running late on her surgery's that day and never came to communicate that. The hospital staff had no information to give me as to why. The pain management after surgery was terrible. I had some problems after I was home due to the surgery so I called her office and was told I would have to see my Primary Dr. There were other problems to numerous to list. I have had 5 other surgery's in the past and this was the worse. If I could I would give her minus star.

The doctor herself was nice, but the office staff needs to be taught how to respond to calls & messages. They ignored my calls on 3 different occasions and this did not make me feel comfortable doing business with them. The Doctor did not seem interested in "correcting" the issues with her staff in any way. I have decided to go to another surgeon for more "professional" service.

Dr Vazquez and her team are amazing! Everything went super smooth with my surgery. I highly recommend her if you ever need thyroid surgery, she knows her stuff!

Dr. Vazquez is an outstanding surgeon. She is so knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I know today how complicated is the surgery and how many things could have gone wrong, but Dr. Vasquez, her PA ,Virginia and amazing office people like the wonderful Kyle and Jorge who are always there to answer any question or concern, they did the best possible job before, during the surgery and after. Literally you are in the best hands possible. I am so happy my Endocrinologist recommended Dr. Vasquez to do my surgery.

Dr. Vasquez is a fantastic surgeon and a truly caring person. I had to have endocrine surgeries in June and September 2019 and they could not have gone better. One of the surgeries was on a Friday and she personally followed up in the hospital over the weekend instead of just having a random hospitalist check on me. She takes time to explain things and is both empathetic and matter of fact with her diagnoses and treatment options. She also runs the best physician office I have ever encountered. The phone is ALWAYS answered and her staff are lovely and accommodating.

Dr. Vazquez is everything you would want as a surgeon. She is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate; furthermore, she takes her time and explains things clearly, making certain that her patient understands everything. Her staff is great, as well, and my fiance' Frank, and I, want to mention how wonderful her staff members, Kyle and Amy, were, as well. Thank you Dr. Vazquez!

Dr. Vasquez is an exceptional surgeon. She is very skilled and does many thyroidectomies. This is her specialty. We were so blessed to be referred to her. She explains everything thoroughly an answers any questions one has. Her office is easy to call and get any questions answered that come up between appointments. She is extremely professional. I would highly recommend her if you need any endocrine surgery.

Dr. Vazquez was recommended by my primary care physician. She did a fine needle biopsy on my thyroid. The diagnosis was cancer and Dr. Vazquez recommended that my thyroid should be removed. As she immediately inspired confidence, I followed her recommendation. The surgery was uncomfortable, but not painful. Now, over five weeks late, my scar is very small and should not be noticeable in a short time. Dr. Vazquez is professional in every sense of? the word. I recommend her highly.
