I loved Dr. Pradhan. He is very kind and delightful. He explained things clearly to me and was eager to hear my list of questions. But he was also honest about how he could help me or who could help me better (physical therapy). He explained my MRI pictures to me. He seemed to think that his direct responses could be interpreted as harsh...but he is the ideal kind of direct that is kind but clear. I couldn't have asked for a better disposition to encounter since I came in very concerned about my back pain. If I ever need back surgery, I will absolutely come to him again and I will recommend him to others. No joke- his personality (kind and friendly) was such an answer to prayer that he's the type of person you'd want as a neighbor to have over for bbq's!

The visit with Dr. Pradhan was informative. He was kind and caring, listened to my comments, looked at prior MRI results (of my spine) I brought for him to see, and wants a new MRI, plus recommended some physical therapy and also an injection I will receive later which should relieve some of my back discomfort from degenerative disc disease. I was very happy with my visit and with the doctor.

Greatness: Pradhan, An Excellent Spine Specialist
Went to physical therapy to prepared for back surgery, wanted to be strong and fit. The director of PT center informed me that all of Dr. P patients healed faster than other doctors. He stated that Dr. P was the GOAT. The morning of my surgery, a hospital nurse said she felt fortune to work with an such outstanding doctor, he probably made the hardware that he used for my spinal fusion. In pain daily for years, after surgery all of the pain stopped. During my surgery Dr. P removed all the arthritis in my neck and back. Ten years later, pain came back. I saw a doctor at another clinic, new X-rays and MRI revealed arthritis and a possible hardware compromise or issue. I went back to Dr. P, he did new X-ray's to compare surgery X-ray's. Dr. P, smile and said 'It's exactly where I put it. You see (as he pointed) I did it in two parts so that you would have movement'. My pain source was the onset of more arthritis post surgery. I left with a smile and physical therapy referral. The GOAT

Just terrible
Mr Pradhan takes zero responsibility for his surgeries, he truly doesn’t care about his patients, rude and has zero bed side manners. Please to everyone get that SECOND option. Do not go to his horrible doctor.

Dr Pradhan is both my moms and my brother’s Dr. He diagnosed both of them after complaints of back and leg pain. He provided a back brace and pain management solutions during wait time before surgery for my brother. He has since performed surgery on my brother who is doing well. Both my family members (and I) are pleased with Dr Pradhan and his staff. This has been a very positive experience. We highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Pradhan. He was prepared for our appointment with my MRI, X-ray, and intake form, and as a surgeon, he assured me at the beginning of the appointment that I was not a candidate for surgery. But that didn't stop him from prescribing a course of medication to try to stop my excruciating back pain. He also authorized other non-surgical interventions to address the problem. He was friendly and personable, and answered questions. I saw no evidence of the big ego other commenters are implying they experienced. If you have a spinal problem, have him take a look. Maybe you'll need surgery, and maybe you won't, but I believe you'll be in capable hands either way.

Can't even see him. Had appt. and when I arrived for it, I was told that he had an emergency and my appt. was cancelled. Okay, I completely understand that, but the receptionist/scheduler said I then could not see him for another two weeks. Why when I have what I might consider as a serious medical issue, why do I find myself completely at the mercy of a 24 year old appt. scheduler with no empathy or knowledge about my problem. I have to move on from the Risser group, where previously I have always had a receptive experience. The whole appointment process really needs to be looked at.

Dr. Pradhan did my neck surgery in December 2015. He is an awesome Dr. That made sure I was aware of procedure and made sure that I was comfortable. I had 2 disc's replaced and a fusion. His office staff is absolutely incredible. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way.

Has no respect for his patients if they dare say anything to question his authority. Makes absolutely no effort to answer questions, spends the least amount of time possible with patients, doesn't explain his reasoning or any treatment plans/possibilities--and, again, will throw a fit if you do ask any of these things. Office staff is equally rude. Avoid at all costs.

If you are a candidate for surgery, Dr. Pradhan might be helpful. If surgery is not an option for your condition, he will not answer simple questions. He said that he would make a referral for physical therapy, but the referral was for pain management (which I will definitely not pursue). After insisting, I was able to obtain the MRI report. My friend from UCLA explained the MRI to me and walked me through appropriate exercises and stretching that are helping a great deal.
