Great experience with Dr. Reddy
Dr. Reddy was my anesthesiologist for my knee replacement surgery this past Friday. He preferred to use spinal anesthesia instead of general for my surgery. The idea of sticking needles into my spine freaked me out, but Dr. Reddy promised that he'd make me feel comfortable through the whole thing. I was skeptical, but as he calmly explained everything he was doing, my fears eased. He did make me comfortable as he promised. Nothing really hurt at all. My attitude about spinal anesthesia is quite different now. I'd do it again. He also explained why my surgery was running so late and helped me to remain relaxed and calm during the wait. It really was an excellent experience.
