Dr. Beverly Yount, MD

Amazing doctor of mine for over 40 years

Dr, Yount is a fine doctor but her staff is terrible. I was left waiting 45 minutes in the outer office. I was on time and the only person in the waiting area. When I went up to the receiptionist, she admitted she forgot to tell the doctor I was there. The staff personell are cold. The people drawing blood there leave me with big bruises. As much as I like Dr. Yount, I am looking for another physician.

I've been a patient a Dr. Yount for more than 10 years. I had an appt Monday, 10/12/2020. I was referred to Diagnostic Imaging for x-rays. I was told that if I went to have the x-rays done that day, I would get the results Wednesday, 10/14/2020. I called Dr. Yount's office Friday, 10/16/2020, Monday, 10/19/2020 and again Tuesday, 10/20/2020. Each time the receptionist at the Lakeview office stated that she would refer my message. Today is Monday, 10/26/2020. I'm still waiting for Dr. Yount or her nurses to get back with me. Dr. Yount is a good doctor, but her employees are the worst, especially Ashley. No bedside manners at all. Every time you ask her question, she act as if you're bothering her. I wouldn't go to the doctor if I didn't need to, but if I'm paying my money I deserve to be treated with the respect and dignity deserved. There's no way in the world I should still be waiting for test results from two weeks ago!

I have been going to Dr. Yount for 30+ years and have consistently received exceptional care. Dr. Yount listens to her patients concerns and is willing to explore alternative treatment prior to issuing prescriptive care. I also appreciate her office assistant, Ashley tremendously. She is the perfect medical assistant and returns patient calls by the end of the business day.

Dr Beverly Yount is a great doctor, very professional,friendly,knowledgeable,and always make me comfortable. I have confidence in her and staff.

Dr Yount is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. Spends time with you and makes sure you understNd everything before you leave the office.

Dr. Yount was friendly, but the visit felt rushed and little was explained along the way. I went in for STI screening and HPV vacc. Was not asked about my sexual history. As my meeting ended I asked for what the urinalysis and blood work were each testing and non-STI-related tests were listed. I had to remind them that I came for STI screening. I called three separate days for my results to receive a rushed call back "all your lab tests were fine" with no listing of what tests were ran.
