Dr. Beth Hellerstedt, MD

i recently had an emergency gall bladder removal and Dr. Hellerstat was not part of this but she found out and took time to make sure i was alright and to let me know if she could help in any way to let her know. she sees me for oncology but her and her staff are always looking out for us patients in all aspects of our care. I have not been called ever by a doctor to check on my care that they were not an integral part of. Her patients and I are lucky to have such a caring friend on our side.

Dr Hellerstedt is an outstanding oncologist. She is knowledgeable of developments in the area of cancer she is treating, explains all aspects of your treatment and overall health, recommending other specialists as needed, and is personable, respectful and caring. I am a Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer survivor. I have felt secure through many years of treatment because Dr H was and is my oncologist.

Dr. Hellerstedt always takes the time to explain difficult and complex disorders with ease for the laymen to understand and be put at ease.

Dr Hellerstedt has taken care of my cancer care for nearly 7 years. I have been cancer free for about 5 years, but she continues to follow up on my PETscans and preventative care. She is the best!

Long wait times, the doctor withholds medication that is necessary for care, the communication amongst staff and patient is disgusting.

The office don’t return your calls. No one cares about you. There is a multi month wait to be seen. Don’t waste your time or energy.

Excellent. She has compassion for her patients. We are people with feelings and not numbers as happens in some offices. Would highly recommend her for her help with your cancer journey.

First visit with Dr Hellerstedt was a virtual visit like a meet and greet and I was very impressed with her and her compassion for what I was going thru and would need to go through. She connected me with all the phases that were needed for the complete diagnosis and the treatments and care that could or would be needed. I am very grateful for her expertise.

Dr. Hellerstedt is knowledgeable and compassionate in every interaction. Her passion for her work is amazing in every interaction I've had with her. Dr. Hellerstedt has guided me through treatment for cancer twice and continues to monitor my health. She manages all aspects of my health by referring to specialists in any area needed and follows up to make sure that I am being taken care of. Dr. Hellerstedt has always shown incredible compassion for me in my continuing battle with multiple health issues. Even during the recent winter storm when travel to the clinic was not possible, she stayed in touch with me via phone to make sure I was doing okay.
