Kind thoughtful empathetic psychiatrist.
He took his time, he listened empathically and he told me he was here for me if I needed him. I couldn’t have asked for better in my time of need.

Do not let the RUDE office staff deter you
Dr. Rosenburg is quite unique. He actually listens, helps find meds in your price range, & has been a huge help in my life the last 7yrs. I highly recommend him. With all that said, his office staff are probably the rudest people I’ve come in contact with, over the phone, in person ect. Which is unfortunate because he’s a great doctor. He’s a psychiatrist, so there’s obviously a reason why you’re seeing him. The staff should be more understanding & professional. I will continue to see him because I know he’s a great doctor. I will also continue to pray he witnesses his staff’s behavior. I do not think he’d approve at all. Or they take an online course in how to treat a patient, act as a professional or just be a decent human being. One can only hope.

Staff is the problem
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Rosenberg for roughly 20 years and our daughter a patient of Ms. Amy for 3 years. They aren’t the problem. His rude office manager is the problem . Recently not only did I receive a statement with my daughter’s statement and my husband’s statement in one envelope. She doesn’t even live with us and is not a minor.HIPPA violation. She has also mixed up script dosages for both because they are on the same medications but different doses and will argue and has argued on the phone while my husband is holding his bottle . Dr. Rosenberg is a good doctor , but he has let his office run rogue for too long.

All business but gets the job done
Dr. Rosenberg is committed to getting into the problem and finding a fix. He doesn't ask you about the time your dog bit you when you were 2 years old. There's no drama, just good advice and effective treatment.

Thoughtful. Kind, Intelligent, Listens, No Rushing. My visit started in 1992 I think. I , My teenage daughter, and young son, went for years. Anxiety disorders in all of us, genetic.ADD I went many years. I believe he saved my life. He understood me well. I am 63 years old now in Arkansas. He did advise me not to move back to La. I went anyway. Got Hit by Hurricane Katrina. I made a desperate call to him. He ordered everything I needed and insulin and other things I needed to endure this tragedy. He phoned it in to a La. pharmacy. Again, saving our lives. No bill, and I never got around to thanking him. I believe, he was put in my life to help my children thrive in school. Navigate me thru a divorce. Stopped the suffering that my past had brought me. Panic attacks, and Severe Anxiety. Of all the people in my life as significant. It would be Bernie. I am at the end of my life and the 1 genuine person I want to talk to . Bernie. Wait times are long but NO REGRETS.

If I could give zero stars, I would. In order to know who this man really is, it will take years to crack the surface, then you'll learn everything was just a facade all along. I believe he's forgotten the Hippocratic Oath, because the first thing he does is harm, truth be told. He throws out hurtful questions as he works you over psychologically, like, "do you need rebab"? I have chronic anxiety and when he tried to take me completely off of my medication, I strugged with the last little bit. He had the audacity to ask me this. No, I don't need rehab, Dr. Rosenberg, but I came to see you to get help with my anxiety--not to increase the anxiety. "First, do no harm." Let's not forget... He also told me I might be better served to go see "another quack", so that tells me what he thinks of himself or his profession, anyway. I've referred at least 10 patients to him over the many years. They have all had bad experiences--without exception--just like me.

I saw Dr. Rosenberg for the first time yesterday, and absolutely love him! He's very easy to talk to and understands things that many other doctors don't. I didn't feel rushed at all. He's very funny, too! As far as wait time goes, I waited about 45 minutes. I was happy to do so, because not only is he worth the wait, but people also need to understand that he is doing his job by being thorough. Isn't that what you want him to do for you? I also saw nothing wrong with the front office staff.

I've gone to him for severe depression for over 15 years. He has helped me through many family crisis which included the death of my mother, being separated from my husband, my job relocating out of Texas and my 5 year old son being hit by a car - all at the same time! If it wasn't for him I'm not sure what would have happened to me! Expect a long wait but it's because he doesnt rush his patients even if time is up! Getting a morning appointment is best. I trust him completely!

I and members of my family have gone to Dr.Rosenberg for many years. This man is most knowledgeable about medications and the side effects. He listens to you the wait can be long and I know that. He has never hurried me and when we have had a crisis he personally calls me. I don’t know if a better psychiatrist. I trust his advice. He also helps with finding affordable medicine.

Dr. Rosenberg is phenomenal. He's thorough, knows medications inside and out and can therefore give you many options. He takes his time and is genuinely interested in your care. He's not a fan of the pharmaceutical companies or the current healthcare system and will do his best to save you money on your prescriptions via coupons, samples, etc. Because he takes his time with each patient, you will wait a long time. The office staff has no control over this. He's worth it.

Dr is understanding and does not like "big pharma". However I cannot over look the extreme long wait time. Over 2 hours late. That does not help someone who is suffering from severe anxiety and stress. The front office receptionist has never been anything but rude and abrupt. She makes sure everyone has paid then leaves for the day while patients are left to wait in the waiting room with no one to contact at the desk. I've never seen an office run this way!

We have been very pleased with Dr. R. He has listened attentively and used a conservative pharma treatment plan. He takes plenty of time with each patient and therefore the wait time can be long. We have gotten use to this and prepare accordingly. Dr. R is an excellent psychiatrist and we are very pleased we found him several years ago.

Very disappointed, they just want your money! This office has treated my family for years. They have never resolved issues concerning my home bound daughter. They are always eager to write an RX for anything. Recently I went to see them concerning myself due to having my son back at home at 40 and he is severely depressed. I really needed advice and counseling about what to do. Now having two grown children back at home. They were way too concerned with getting my son to come in for treatment.

If you want to wait at least. one to two hours past your "appointment time" EVERY time, this is your doc. I could even look past the patient scheduling issues if the front office staff/reception wasn't so rude and unaccommodatng. Not worth the drive or wait time.
