Great Work on my esophageal dilation!
I had an esophageal dilation. It was fast, painless, and effective. Everyone, from check-in, to nurses, to the doctors, was friendly and skilled. This was my second dilation procedure, the first was many years ago with Gilley but I needed an earlier appointment this time. I don't understand the one-star reviews for either of these doctors and the clinic. Are people looking for a new best friend or a miracle? I'm also a Mayo patient, which is the gold standard for care. Both times for me, this clinic, staff, and doctors met that standard (rare outside of Mayo). They answered every question and listened and responded to all of my concerns.

Not again
Colonoscopy on 7/18. His prep was horrid. Drank 2 liters of the awful solution 5 hours before bed. Up all night with leg cramps. Drank the other 2 liters in the morning. My prep with my first colonoscopy was so much easier. Dr Feldman came in the room, said “hello” and asked what I do for a living. Then was instructed that he had not talked to the previous patient before he started with me. So he left the room. Came back, and continued getting things ready for me. Nurse asked how much sedation and I heard him say “75”. Not even close to enough. I was completely awake during the entire procedure. Saw the monitor, cried out in pain a couple of times, even asked for a little more sedation. Not how my last colonoscopy went at all. I remember nothing of that one. I was conscious enough to know he said everything looked great with nothing to worry about. Good thing I remember that conversation as he did not come talk to my husband and I afterwards. I expected better.

I think he is a great doctor. I had been to many doctors trying to figure out what was wrong. He walked in to my hospital room asked many questions than told me my problem was hemochromatosis. He had testing done was right and probably saved my life.
