My fiance had a large lump on his right side of his neck. I signed him up for Medical insurance with WA Health plan, and made him a full physical. His results sent him to Dr. Barit Madsen. I have a Dad,3 Brothers,&2 nieces that are Doctors so,I can be more critical.Dr. Barit Madsen and her entire staff put me at ease immediately. The entire staff is clearly there to help patients and truly care. I felt completely safe,& confident in the entire staff. Ann Archer, her nurse is amazing. Trust me

One of the most down to earth Physicians I've ever met. She is so easy to communicate with, and knows about all the resources available while going through treatment. Going through Cancer treatment sucks; but this place was definitely the easiest/best part of it all.

Dr. Madsen is a compassionate, expert radiation oncologist. My insurance company denied her treatment plan for me. She wrote detailed appeals with supporting research studies. I listened in as she made the appeal. I will be eternally grateful to have had her on my side. She made an airtight, successful appeal. She presented it with the confidence that comes from being the experienced and expert physician she is. The whole team is amazing - personable and masterful. I miss spending time them!

I found Dr. Madsen completely unintimidating. Being elderly, with breast cancer and severely hearing impaired I was apprehensive that I might not be able to understand what was happening and that the physiician might not have the necessary patience to communicate with me. She was easy to ask questions of, and her good humor really lightened things for me. Cancer is scary but she herself seemed confident and upbeat. It helps.

Dr. Madsen and her terrific PCC staff & radiation team eased me through my breast cancer treatment process with understanding, clear & simple answers for all of my questions and concerns, unflagging encouragement & empathy over those many long weeks and such compassion for me as a whole person - not just another patient (as in so many other medical practices). I feel fortunate to have been in their care; and I absolutely recommend PCC without reservation as a top-notch cancer care center.

Dr. Madsen is very personable. She explained my treatment in a way that I could understand. Every time we met she was always positive and shared some kind of information or suggestion that I could use to better my health. I really appreciated the way she was able to put me at ease. I never felt like I was just a patient to be hurried through an appointment. She took her time and made sure that she had answered all my questions/concerns. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Madsen.

Dr. Madsen and her staff are not only very knowledgeable, but the way they care for you is warm and personal. Little touches, like having a soft robe instead of a medical gown. They are all good listeners and take time to address any concerns. It's scary to have cancer, and Dr. Madsen's team makes it a lot easier to get through it.

My experience with Dr. Madsen has been wonderful. She listens to you, and is patient, and answers all my questions to my satisfaction. I feel she is an excellent choice if a patient needs this type of treatment. You are made to feel very welcome and comfortable every time you visit, and is always available after hours if an issue arises you need help with. She will go over all tests and scans with you, and answers all issues in lay people terms, which you will understand.

I usually have all my medical care in Seattle. Very reluctant to have my treatment on the Kitsap Peninsula. My experience with Dr. Madsen and her staff surpassed all my expectations. So comforting to know that we have excellent services in our small community.
