Terrible Experience
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Solomon. His bedside manner is terrible, and he doesn't seem to care about his patients. Additionally, he has a negative attitude towards larger patients. Due to my experience, I actively avoid scheduling appointments with him and advise everyone I know to do the same.During my surgery, Dr. Solomon removed a cyst, ovary, and fallopian tube. After the surgery, he rushed out of the hospital and did not return calls from the nurses or doctors on duty when I experienced complications. His lack of aftercare resulted in a prolonged recovery period of two months, instead of the expected few days. I also suffered from pain for six months.Dr. Solomon offered exploratory surgery to try to find the mistake but couldn't guarantee he would find it or be able to repair the damage. There was no way I was allowing him to touch me again.

Post ER visit
I had to go to the ER and got scheduled at the last minute with Dr.Solomon. The pass few days have felt so unclear, but he helped me find some direction. He was straight and to the point. I asked him about a medication I was recommended and he knew exactly what the studies said (I had read the studies before coming in), and I felt like he took the time to listen and make sure that the visit was thorough. He gave me all the possible scenarios and a plan for each one, which I deeply appreciate because it’s exactly what I needed. After the visit, I am hoping he continues to be my obgyn.

Very rushed, and a bit rude
Visited due to needing a bcp without bothering migraines. When i suggested something that i researched to help with PPD , he laughed and seemed sarcastice. Didn't really listen or look into the alternatives to what they throw at you. He also left without saying goodbye, just left me in room. I went to front desk to let them know i would not be paying for the appointments and needed a new one. Sad. I usually have great experiences with male gynecologist, however he was just impersonal and acted like he knew my body more than i did.. bizarre.

Genuinely Cares
Dr Solomon is amazing! He genuinely hears your concerns and does everything possible to address them. He consults with other colleagues, sends me messages to let me know he has reviewed the results, and orders extra testing if something is unclear. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Solomon is very professional, courteous, and compassionate. He delivered both of my daughters by C-section (most recent 3/27/20). I felt very confident with him. He patiently listened to all my questions and concerns at all of my appointments and answered them thoroughly. I was so happy that he was the one who delivered my girls!

Dr Solomon goes above and beyond for his patients. He is always available to answer questions and very responsive. He has made sure my pregnancy has been smooth and that I always feel safe. I am 38 weeks pregnant and hoping to expect my little guy any day now. I am as relaxed as one can be during this crazy time knowing I have Dr Solomon on my side.

Called the after hours line as I am currently suffering the news and loss of my 17 week pregnancy and baby. After hearing the news in the doctors office I was unable to comprehend anything due to hearing my child was gone. Called and spoke with Dr.Solomon to get some options and clarification because my shock has settled only to be told by him “he doesn’t have time to sit here and answer my unimportant questions that I should have asked at my appointment” that what I’m going through is “not a big deal and he has no advice for me” and that I should have “probably thought about all these questions and concerns while I was at my appointment rather than after others where he is not there to answer unimportant questions that don’t pertain to him”. I have never been so mortified in my life. After hearing my baby has passed STILL INSIDE OF MY BODY and I’m trying to seek help I get made out to be “unimportant “ and treated like I’m stupid for Not asking while being told my child was dead.

Not a fan of Dr. Solomon. His bedside manner could use some work. I actively avoid getting an appt with him after my first encounter with him. I saw him today after none of my preferred providers were available. I knew what I was getting into and wasn't surprised when he said: "it's not really worth my time to do a cervical check" since I have a scheduled c-section even though I came in complaining of abnormal amounts of cramping. I really wish he would work on his bedside manner or choose another profession where lack of empathy/concern for the client would be more applicable or accepted.

I'm in my the start of my third trimester and just had an appointment with Dr. Solomon. I was a normal weight/BMI prior to becoming pregnant, am within the normal weight gain range for my pregnancy, and in fact am at almost the exact same weight gain amount as I was in my previous pregnancy. The way Dr. Solomon broached the subject of some extra weight gain from the previous 4 weeks was completely unprofessional. Rather than bring it up in a respectful way out of medical concern, he asked me if I had "had an extra nice thanksgiving" and in fact waited for me to respond (I'm still baffled at what he expected me to say) before mentioning that I had gained X pounds in the previous 4 weeks. I've already made sure none of my future appointments are with him, and I really hope he's not the one who delivers my baby either. I would actively recommend other pregnant women avoid him as he clearly has no empathy or bedside manners.

Not only being a first time patient, I also was needed to be seen because of an abnormal MRI. Everyone in the office was very pleasant and friendly, yet professional. From the time Dr. Solomon walked into the room he was courteous ready to listen. Dr. Solomon asked some background questions than did a very thorough exam. After the exam he explained all the possible situations in detail. He answered my questions too. He had to talk to radiology. He called personally and explained things. Great DR

Dr. Solomon delivered my sons in 2014 and 2018, of which both pregnancies were considered high risk. We had to place a cervical cerclage for both pregnancies. He was both attentive and very knowledgeable of my condition. The prenatal care for both pregnancies was outstanding under his care. I also had postpartum hemorrhaging for both pregnancies - he was there each time to ensure my safe recovery. I’m very selective when it comes to medical care - I trust &highly recommend Dr. Solomon.

I went to Dr. Solomon for a second opinion after my regular gyno recommended surgery for an ovarian cyst. Dr. Solomon listened to my concerns and after his own examination advised that a procedure was not necessary as it may go away on its own with time (which it did a few months later). Dr Solomon is very knowledgeable and clearly has his patients' best interest at heart, saving me time, money and recovery from an unnecessary procedure. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great OBGYN in MD!

Dr Solomon is not warm and fuzzy but he was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions and explain all risks and benefits in regards to the birth of my daughter. He was extremely prepared for any emergency that may have occurred and provided the necessary follow up care. I felt very confident with him delivering my child.

The worst Obgyn I have ever been to. He is pompous and has no patient care. He spends no time with you at appointments. He's even worse when in L&D. I now have an induction date and realized he's the doctor scheduled that day. I am literally rescheduling my induction date for later to not have him. I can't even begin to understand how he chose this field of medicine

Initially, I was not a fan of Dr. Solomon. He's not people friendly (warm and fuzzy). He measured my belly, asked did I have any questions and he was done. He was also extremely rough when checking my cervix and I bled for a few days post his invasive force. However, when I went into labor, he was AWESOME. Dr. Solomon performed an emergency C-section on me and I have not one scar on my body. The incision site is no existent visually. Dr. Solomon won my vote!!!!!!

Disrespectful. I am an understanding paitent and know that issues may come up in other patients that delay the dr. That doesn't excuse a dr to be 45 minutes late. On top of that didn't even have the decency to wipe the ultrasound jelly off my stomach or put the foot rest away for me. He took all of 5 total minutes in the room with me. I was in his office for well over an hour and he spent all of 5 minutes with me. This is not acceptable.
