Dr. Perry, Most Unprofessional Doctor ever
Took my 82 year old dad in to the ER due to low blood pressure. When trying to explain to Dr. Petty about my dad's dialysis he rudely told me that I needed to get my "Terminology Correct" because I was being misleading. Sorry I don't have a medical degree but he didn't want to take the time to listen to what I had to say. He blurted out what he thought was wrong with my dad & wanted to admit him without even checking first with the specialist before arriving at his diagnosis. Turned out what he said was wrong. He didn't appear to be a man that wanted to acknowledge that he was wrong & got into an argument with my 80 year old mom. He argued like a grade school kid. So unprofessional & rude. I had to ask him to stop arguing because it wasn't beneficial to my dad who was the patient. Horrible experience. This doctor certainly needs some education in professionalism & people skills.

I went to IU Health over Hendricks Regional thinking I would get better care. I was sorely mistaken. I have never been compelled to write a review but after my experience, I would never recommend anyone seeing or taking this man seriously. He was arrogant, failed to check me over, and failed to listen. He said ER was his turf and he called the shots. After CT, he didn't go over the results. I had to ask. When I asked to see the scans, he just zipped through them. I am thoroughly disgusted.

My pcp's office told me to go to the ER to be evaluated for increased back/leg/foot pain. Dr. Petty was the ER doctor. He would not listen to information or question me or my husband tried to convey. He refused to treat my acute debilitating pain and submitted me to humiliating test before he would order the MRI. The used phrases like "I'm a doctor. I know what I'm doing" I was treated like I was wasting his time. He was the worse doctor I have every seen. I will never return to that ER.
