Great, caring Doctor.
Surgery was not an option until I met Dr.Graves. He assured me that surgery would give me back the use of my arm and physical therapy was not needed. I was never in much pain and did arm exercises at home. Four months later my arm and shoulder are good as new. I would recommend Dr. Graves to my family and friends

Outstanding surgeon/doctor. I broke my shoulder with three serious rotator cuff tears. Dr. Graves did an excellent job, has great communication skills also, and is a compassionate, caring doctor. What more can you ask for? I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

I interviewed several surgeons to do a total shoulder replacement. I decided to go with Dr. Graves because of his calmness, interest in my care, experience and his explanation of how he would do the surgery. The interview and assessment process that I experienced had me talking individually to his nurse Megan, his PA and then him with Megan and the PA present. Felt like I was their most important patient. I exercise a LOT (which probably led to the joint failure) and have a lot of muscle around my shoulder. This caused the surgery to take longer than normal, but he got through it with flying colors. In 6 months I was back in the gym with full range of motion. He did a fabulous job. Am going back to him for an Ulnar nerve release and decompression in my elbow plus arthroscopy for the bone spurs. Can't say enough about this guy and his staff.....very solid.

I injured my hand cheer leader in June and was going to a local specialist who had no clue what was wrong and just gave stupid excuses for 5 months! Finally he referred us to dr graves and as soon as he walked in and looked at my hand he knew exactly what it was and ordered a MRI the next week. The week after the MRI I had surgery. This fixed one of the problems little did anyone know there was another but dr graves was able to do a 2nd surgery and fix it so glad I have such a great doctor!!!!!!

My daughter was unable to continue playing fastpitch softball due to extreme pain and locking in her left elbow. She had devoted much of her life to the sport and at 14 she wasn't ready to call it quits. We saw Dr. Graves and he quickly diagnosed the problem when other doctors had not. He clearly explained the procedure and risks and my daughter decided to have the surgery. She recovered faster than expected and has returned to the game she loves. You won't find a better surgeon than Dr. Graves.
