Great psychiatrist
Dr. Flores is a brilliant psychiatrist. I saw him for about 3 years and found him to be the most trustworthy, knowledgable psychiatrist I've seen. He's up on all the new medications, and on all the possible combinations. He's very much aware of possible side effects and always tells you what to watch for. I wish I still lived in California so I could continue to see him. He's very kind

Dr Flores has been a huge part of my recovery from a lifetime of trauma and shame. He has this uncanny knack for getting me to open up when I have all of my shields up. I am so grateful to work with him while determining what medications work best for me. I feel like he allows me to trust my instincts and leads from there. He isn’t just a pill pusher, he genuinely wants to see me succeed.

Dr Flores prescribed medications which were unnecessary, provided no benefit, and had horrific, crippling adverse effects which he ignored, but which caused years of unemployment. It took years before better doctors were able to correct the problem (simply by stopping my medication), partly because he completely botched the medical records he passed on to other doctors by badly misreporting the records of previous doctors (which I later retrospectively accessed).

Smart, kind, helpful, always gets back to you. I don't understand these other people's reviews. I worked with him for years and he was terrific. Understands the complexities of medicines very well.

Doctor Flores put my fiancé on high dosages of Cymbalta and Seroquel and when she was too sick to make it to her appointments, he punished her by not returning calls and not filling prescriptions. The result was a horrid withdrawal episode that landed her in the hospital for a week and took months to recover from. I only give two start because he was caring at one point, before becoming a monster. Shame on you Sir.

Dr Flores seems to be professional, caring and knowledgeable, up until the moment you decide you would like to move on, in my case with a female psychiatrist. After I declared my decision, Dr Flores turned against me and refused to communicate further with me. He told me that since I was not going to be working with him in the future he had no obligation to provide closure to our 2 year relationship. This is an egregious break in the code of conduct for licensed psychiatrist.
