Appt. started on time. Met Dr. for first time.

I’ve struggled with low back and leg pain for a few years now. April of 2024 it started getting much worse. Pain clinic referred me to Dr. Dorenkamp after MRI showed severe spinal stenosis and a cyst at L4 L5. In October 2024 at my appointment with him I explained that I have done meds, PT and injections with little relief. He agreed to do a left lumbar laminectomy and remove cyst. The surgery was a complete success! I suffered a dural tear during surgery which was taken care of. He explained everything very well from my visit, through the surgery date and follow ups. Highly recommend him and his entire staff. You are treated with respect from the minute you check in. This doctor is so compassionate. If you’re a chronic pain patient, that means a lot.

In summary, this was the kind of a Doctor's visit you would desire from any Doctor. Outstanding.

Dr. Dorenkamp immediately addressed the problem I was having with my L4-L5 section of my back. He set out a strategy to get the pain under control. He gave instructions to the pain clinic to follow up. With his help I feel positive about recovery
