Dr. Doolittle has been my primary doctor for about 5 years. I have found him to be very compassionate & he listens to my concerns & input. Highly recommended Dr. Doolittle!

Followed Dr. Doolittle from Mills River to Asheville. He’s one of the best Drs I’ve had the privilege of finding. Very compassionate and cares about his patients.

Extremely satisfied with Dr A-D
It’s so refreshing to have a physician who doesn’t rush through an appointment. Dr A-D will get to know you as a person first and a patient second. His approach to medicine in my opinion is progressive with an emphasis on healthy life-style. However he doesn’t make one feel guilty if one struggles to maintain that lifestyle. I think he realizes that old habits die hard. I actually look forward to my appointment. His staff is pleasant and efficient as well. I consider myself fortunate to have found Dr A-D. Even though he recently moved his office further north from where I live, I wouldn’t even consider looking for another doctor.

Very thorough
I like Dr. Doolittle’s thoroughness. He is concerned about you as a whole. I find him extremely smart and able to communicate well. If you want a doctor for your health, then he is wonderful. If you are looking for a doctor to hand you medicine at the drop of a hat, move on.

Incapable of simply approving prescriptions in a timely manner and listening to a patient when they speak. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a PCP.

I encountered this physician as he was volunteering some of his time at the free clinic. I think it goes to show he cares for the residents of Buncombe county and not so much about lining his pockets with gold like so many practitioners. He was calm, he listened, and he offered great advice. He was knowledgeable and courteous and I didn't feel rushed at all. Thank You Doctor Adams-Doolittle!
