Good partner in health
Met Dr. Littlejohn when he was over with Dr. Stephen Sommer's medical practice on Piedmont Avenue. He was one of the better doctors in that practice. Glad to know he is back. Nothing has changed. Very personable. Spends a lot of time knowing you as a patient, while addressing each and every one of your medical concerns. Good and helpful support staff. Office has a simple-to-navigate online patient portal, and he is one of the few medical professionals that have 'lived experiences.' A good partner in health.

Do not recommend
Touching without warning:He gave no warning that he would begin the physical exam, he just started reaching under my shirt. I was surprised and uncomfortable.Long wait time:In one instance, I was his first session of the day. I arrived early, then waited an hour before he arrived. He didn't apologize.Interrupted and unfocused session time:2 min in, he left without warning for 10-15 min. Then came back, no explanation. The session ended up being more than 1 hr long, mostly taken up by him talking about himself. I barely could get a word in edgewise to bring it back to my test results and what I should do to follow up.The one positive thing: layman explanations of test results.

As BAD as it gets!
Every bad review is 100% truth!!! Avoid this doctor at all cost. Especially if you value your health. He likes to talk about random nonsense instead of addressing your health concerns. He is late for other appointments because he is busy wasting time in the other room. You can hear him laughing and talking about nonsense from the waiting room. It took me three appts to really grasp the shear lunacy. At first I thought his silly stories was his way of getting to know you and to make you comfortable. By the third appt. You realize that he just likes to talk incessantly about anything (some even inappropriate) but your health. The office staff is truly horrible and ran by his relative who is also, dare I say not very grounded! I honestly would never tear down a doctor who provides actual patient care but this guy and his office staff is bad Very bad… proceed with caution.

Unbelievable! Beware!
My experience was terrible he talked about everything but what I was there for. I had to walk out the office and then he refused to give me all the paperwork with my information. When I called the next day and said if I didn’t get it I would file a grievance with my insurance I was told to come and get it. Beware!!!

The worst experience I have ever had dealing with a doctors office. The doctor is fine, the staff, the billing, the management are terrible. Even the simple process of refilling a scrip is a impossible task. I have never been treated so badly.

Don't recommend at all. Came in on time for my appointment, then waited in the patient room for over 45 minutes without anyone checking in on me and without the doctor visiting me. Finally, I walked out. No one deserves to have their time wasted like this. The staff could've cared less. What arrogrance and rudeness. I will not be returning, and will be finding a new general practitioner.

Avoid for any reason. Very unprofessional doctor, doesn’t treat you with care/kind, starts talking about random unrelated and sexual situations from the past after he asked about my orientation. That is absolutely unacceptable. Forgets to call you back, forgets your paperwork and test results. He doesn’t have a lab in his practice so you have to go around town trying to do your lab work in undesirables labs and then meet with him again, when it should should all be done in one stop at his facility. The receptionists and help staff are just as incompetent and unfriendly, they don’t explain anything and even booked the wrong appointments. Do not recommend and will never come back. Doctors like these should not exist.

Dr. Littlejohn is a arrogant and unprofessional. After waiting for over one hour with no indication of when he would actually show up he finally arrived. When I mentioned the long wait time, he simply motioned for the door in the universal symbol for "if you don't like it, you can leave." Well, leave I did. I will never be going back and would discourage anyone from going through the same time waste that I did.

I was totally devastated when the best doctor I had ever seen in all of my 75 years left the area where I lived. His patience was remarkable and his attitude relaxing - he chats and listens and all the while seems to get information he needs to treat you. His kind, gentle touch alone seems healing and reassuring. It's been 10 years since Dr. Littlejohn had me looking for a new physician and I haven't found his equal yet, But now I know where he is. It's about time, Ben Littlejohn.
