Incompetent and Insecure
Terrible provider - always late, always rushed and completely uncaring. She had a medication plan that didn't work for years. I went to the medical school nearby (where she trained) and a full professor of medicine (that she trained under) gave me a second opinion on my diagnosis and treatment. She refused to accept his diagnosis and medication plan then fired me as a patient when I refused to go back to the medications she inappropriately prescribed.

absolutely HORRIBLE
She didn't read my file, she made up fictitious symptoms that i didn't have as an excuse to raise the dose of the medication i had been tapering off of. If she had read my file at all she would have seen that the medication was causing my body to become resistant to insulin, she wasn't open or accepting to the care I said I'd like to receive and did pretty much the opposite of what I asked and when I asked her to provide evidence for the treatment she proposed it was complete nonsense and dependent on a bad decision another doctor had made without questioning it. She seems to completely lack the skills and knowledge to competently perform her job and I'm wondering how it is possible that she is employed at all. It has been several weeks since our appointment and my therapist outside of sound is considering my meeting with her as a traumatic event due to the amount of gaslighting a I endured in my 15 minute appointment with Dr. Gustafson and the distress i've experienced since.
