Dr. Behnaz Haghighi Motlagh, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Motlagh for 2 months now. She is extremely caring and attentive. Her front office staff are stellar and prompt. It is refreshing to see such professionalism. I have already referred her to many family members. I hardly ever write reviews, but the experience has been exceptional, and I thought others would benefit as well.

Warm and caring and highly recommended!

I visited their office by myself, it was full of positive energy with warm welcoming in the nice and lovely office. After fill of paper work, less than a minute one of staff checked my body temperature and weight . Dr. Mona came and start to test and analyze my history and present health. She is expert on her job and very calm and nice talking in her visit. I recommend every body to go there and see by your own eyes this level of value then compere with the other doctors that how much different between of previous doctor and these are. I believe that life is short , so don't make shorter. and You deserve to receive best of services about your life and body.

I was sent to Dr. Motlagh by default when my doctor had to close down her business suddenly. Dr. Motlagh is okay sometimes yet not other times. It depends on the situation. You never know what you're going to get. And most of the time you'll get a PA. The biggest thing is the office staff. They are HORRIBLE! They don't follow through on what they say they're going to do. They get appointment days/times incorrect and blame it on you. They have one excuse after another for why they don't get things done, and their computer files are atrocious! They can NEVER find lab results that have been sent to them through Quest. And the DO NOT LISTEN! Dr. Motlagh is way more interested in the cosmetic aspect than any of the other medical aspects. Needless to say, I left her and found another doctor whose office staff is wonderful as well as the doctor herself. What a relief! Please heed my words... Keep clear of this doctor and her incompetent staff!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PHONE CONVERSATIONS FROM THIS OFFICE!!!!!!! I WAS CONTINUALLY YELLED AT BY SOMEONE IN THEIR OFFICE AND I REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM NOT TO YELL AT ME AND SAID, "I'M GOING TO YELL AT YOU AND YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN." I HUNG UP. WHAT KIND OF AN OFFICE IS THIS?!?!?!?!?

I went to Dr Motlagh in 2015 by default when the fantastic Dr across the hall had to shut down her practice unexpectedly (to take care of an ill family member) & everyone was ported over to her. So, I went to Dr Motlagh through 2019. In that time, I never knew whether I would meet with her or a PA, but NO PA (or most office staff, for that matter) ever stayed in her office more than 3 visits, which makes me suspicious about their happiness there (and since I went 4x/year plus for blood draws, I was there a lot). Similar to another complaint on here, they want you to come in for tests CONSTANTLY that other dr's will prescribe for a year at a go. I assume it's to rake in extra $ from the insurance companies for each visit. My last straw was when I had repeated complaint that I just don't think she gave a %&^$ about, every time I followed up, asking if she'd researched what she'd promised to and call me, she said, "oh, I forgot" (AGAIN). That said, Faye at the front desk is the SWEETEST!!

I have gone to Dr Motlagh for several years and once went almost 2 years without seeing her for my appointments. They would have a PA see me instead. Very strange. Also she makes her patients come in for an office visit every 3-6 months in order to get rx's renewed. My prior doctors would allow renewals up to a year. She will not. After I lost my job, they refused to renew my rx (that I have had for over 15 years) without coming in and paying for an office visit and tests Utterly ridiculous and insensitive. I should have changed doctors much earlier! Steer clear of this doctor, she only seems to care about cosmetic visits over her family practice. Apparently more lucrative!

In Dec of 2018, after having pellets inserted, I was bleeding a lot from the incision and was very sore. The next day, the area was hot, swollen, red and very painful. I contacted her office many times over the next month about the issues I continued to have and was treated VERY dismissively. Another doctor's office confirmed that I had an infection... and over a year later, I have a scar with a yellow ring around it where she inserted the pellets. I would never recommend Dr Motlagh to anyone!

She's great and office staff is very kind

Just awful! I'll keep this review sweet and simple, As I was checking out, right in front of me she was yelling at her staff about a bill. And not to mention how rude her bedside matter is. I would stay clear of this "doctor."

I came in with my wife last week and was immediately greeted by Dr Brooke Motlagh! She was very welcoming and quick with our check-in process and answered all of our questions we had about the paperwork. All of the staff was very kind and her treatment went great! Thank you everyone!

I was visiting friends in So. Cal and they talked me into getting some Botox and fillers on my 61 year old face. I wanted it to look as natural as possible and told Dr. Motlagh this. She was professional, attentive, and listened to my concerns. I could not be happier with the results! There was virtually no down time - no bruising, slight swelling and 3 days later I am truly thrilled with how natural it all looks. I would not hesitate to return to this artist doctor.

My mom has been coming here for about a year now and every time whether she sees Dr. Motlagh or Salma, her nurse practitioner its been nothing but a great experience. Her staff is great, very friendly even when she walk-ins for appts they make it quick and easy. Now our whole family which consists of 5 of us changed over to Dr. Motlagh including my grandma who lives in Los Angeles. Definitely recommend!!!

This is not a review of Dr. Motlagh, who I never met in two visits, but of the office. My first visit I saw the PA, she appeared clueless and prescribed me with medication that would have cost me $2700. Totally unhelpful. Then I scheduled a TB test, ten days ahead of time. Got a reminder call the night before (helpful), but the next morning they had no more TB test materials. They offered to reschedule but I was on a strict timetable, so ended up screwed by this office. Will never return.

Scheduled to see Dr. Motlagh 3x. Each time it was a Physician's Assistant that saw me, even though she was in the office and no one else was in the waiting room. So I have never met her. Just saw her on FB advertising the new hyper pigmentation machine. Maybe she just wants to see the patients who are coming for the beauty related services? I scheduled and paid for an MD not a PA. I felt like a bait and switch took place. Won't be coming back.

I'm a little difficult as a patient. Brooke is awesome!

Dr Behnaz Motlagh is very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. She has been treating me with Kybella and has completely removed my double chin :-) She has also performed laser hair removal on me with amazing results. I can't wait to go and visit her again.
