Dr. Becky McGilligan, MD

Dr. Becky has been our doctor for approximately 10 years and our family could not ask for a better person for our medical needs. Every once and awhile someone needs to know how much they are appreciated. Dr. Becky exemplifies professionalism when she enters the room. You are put at ease by her always pleasant and positive demeanor and most of all, she listens. During appointments I always get the feeling she truly loves being a doctor and that means a lot to a patient. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the entire staff only compliments Dr. Becky’s practice. After years of interactions they are by far the most pleasant, friendly, and professional staff I have ever encountered. Thank you all.

Practices "Direct Care" instead of "Primary Care" like the large "chain" healthcare. Focuses on the patent versus time and numbers. Highly recommend

Dr. McGilligan takes the time to listen to my concerns. She and her staff are very genuine in their care. She offers choices/suggestions for my health decisions so that I feel I can choose a path that best meets my needs. I appreciate her warmth and humor as it makes it easy to talk with her about my health.

Dr. Becky is amazing. She stays up to date on the newest findings in science/medicine. We all love getting our checkups with her. She is on time, doesn’t rush you, and she listens.

Always attentive, caring, and answers all my questions. I never went to a female Doctor until Dr Becky ( old fashioned I guess ) the first time I met her I felt comfortable and at ease!!!

I have yet to encounter a doctor I trust, and feel comfortable with, in the way that I do with Dr. McGilligan. I was sad (for myself and her patients) when she left Christ to start her own practice and tried to find a replacement within my insurance network. No one came close to providing the level of care she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has always listened to my concerns as a patient. She works with me to provide options for care and follow-up, as opposed to dictating one course of action. I absolutely love her! Her staff is wonderful as well. While at Christ, I had referred both family and friends to her - and at least 5 were patients of hers during that time (some were unable to follow when she left). ALL of them absolutely loved her too!

Dr McGilligan really listens, is respectful and gives honest, complete information. She doesn’t stare at a computer screen while you talk unlike too many Docs these days. Because of the structure of her practice, appts are extended so there’s plenty of time. In her practice there’s no game of “telephone” like most practices where u tell a receptionist your prob, who sends a message to the Doc who responds to an RN who calls you and u know details r lost in translation. U always communicate directly with the Doc. I recommend her highly.

I went to Dr. McGilligan until she went into her own private practice (which l admire). My husband didn't want to pay the extra money but l did. She is the best doctor l had been to since the 80's. He 5 left his practice to help in the third world countries. Dr. McGilligan truly cares for her patients. She goes above and beyond. I really can't say enough nice things about her. She helped me through some tough times. She has much empathy and compassion. I really miss her. Haven't found one that compares to her. I have changed doctors twice since l had to leave Dr. McGilligan. I am getting ready to change again. Miss her very much. She is certainly the best doctor in Cincinnati and beyond in my opinion. 5 stars

I've always liked her and am happy she switched to her own practice. I rarely have more than a 5 minute wait and she spends as much time with me as I need her to. She's very attentive and interested

Dr. McGilligan has been my physician for several years. I really love her new practice. Her commitment to providing the best care and resources is clear from the moment you meet her. She is extremely personable and really takes time to get to know you. I feel she's a partner in my healthcare. She's compassionate, straightforward and has a wealth of knowledge. She listens. There's no rush when she sits down, you have her full attention. She's fabulous.

I have been a patient since 2013 since she started at the 5 mile and beechmont avenue office. she has given me excellent care in every area. She listens and I believe she is interested in what I have to say. We have worked together on my care and I believe I am all the better for her as my doctor. I recommend her to my friends and family in this area of the state.

She is aware of all my medical ìssues & provides wonderful care. I wanted a dr whom I was not just an appt time slot. In & out of appt in 10 or 15 minutes is not enough time to cover everything, especially when you have as many illnesses as I have. She is patient, thorough & takes time to listen. You couldn't find a better doctor.

I saw Dr. McGilligan in 2013. While she was a sweet person, her office was clearly understaffed and she rushed through her appointments. I had a terrible headache, for which I visited her, which she immediately attributed to stress. She spent about 3 minutes in the room with me. When I got home, the headache was even worse and I felt dizzy. I took my temperature, which was 103 degrees. Neither Dr. McGilligan nor her nurse had even thought to take my temperature. I never went back.

Dr. Becky is an awesome physician. She also listens, understands and genuinely cares about her patients.

I can’t put into words how much I love having Dr. McGilligan as my doctor. She is such a breath of fresh air. She treats me as a friend and I can tell she sincerely cares about me. She is extremely intelligent and knows what she is talking about. I feel lucky to have her as my doctor. I see so many different doctors for chronic illnesses and she is by far my favorite for many reasons. I can trust her decisions and feel comfortable telling her everything. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Becky takes the time to really listen to any health concerns, and works with me to provide treatment options or referrals, if needed. Her warm demeanor makes me feel very comfortable.

Dr.McGilligan has helped me navigate complex diagnoses and see how I can live a normal and productive life. She is compassionate and trustworthy. She listens to my concerns and then we formulate a plan of treatment. I would be lost without her.

I've followed up with Dr. McGilligan for 4 years now, and have enjoyed the relationship I've developed with her. Friendly, efficient and competent. Very easy to get appointment, and to be seen on time and get what I need. Highly recommended
