The "staff" (if you can call them that) are beyond useless. Multiple mistakes such as failing to determine health insurance coverage on the meds, then twice calling in prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. Dr. Sanders completely misunderstood the nature of the problem and ordered an upper GI when the patient was complaining of lower GI (as in colon/rectal). And, as the patient is almost 51 and never had a scope before, it did not dawn on Dr. Sanders to do what the AMA has recommended for decades.WHO wants to go through colon prep 2x in any one year? No one. "We" are done with sole practitioners who are past their prime. OTOH, we also do not support mega-"shops" where you literally are just a number; but all the smaller practices are cashing out to fund their retirements. Like our status, there seems to middle-class left.

I have always had great success with Dr. Sanders and would definitely recommend him to others. He is very pleasant to talk to and takes the time to listen to what your concerns may be.

Dr. Sanders was recommended by my last two GP's. I finally got a colonoscopy, and it could not have been easier or more convenient. A year or two later I had to get scoped for ulcer issues and had the same excellent experience. I had the procedures at the Lewisville hospital and the Carrollton hospital. Both were fine but I preferred Lewisville.

I agree with all the negative reviews. His office staff has been forgetful at best, apathetic about responding to questions and patient needs. Totally in the dark ages with technology which makes it difficult for the patient. Unresponsive to questions, never followed back up on an MRI he ordered after I called 8 times in 4 weeks. Finally, the office staff had to read me the results over the phone even though they said they weren't supposed to. Two months later he has not called me with results

Dr. Sanders is the most gifted Gastroenterologist, I have ever been to. His extensive knowledge, experience and intuition are always right on the spot! After suffering my whole life, he has been a saving grace. I highly recommend him and my whole entire family only trust him as our Gastro. He is very easy to talk to, he listens, understands and explains in ways that we can all understand. His office staff is amazing. Very easy to schedule/reschedule and the waiting times are always minimal.

I've known Dr. Saunders for a dozen years and received five colonoscopies from him during that time. Every time I've called his office, his staff has been courteous and professional. Dr. Saunders himself is congenial and businesslike, and has then patience to answer all my questions. On the medical side, he's been excellent, has made good diagnoses and judgement calls, and has provided me with excellent care. I have recommended him to several colleagues over the years and do so again here.

I was an ER patient at his hospital and was admitted to his care, not ever having met him before. This event actually happened years ago, but I never forgot how arrogant he was. He did okay as far as taking care of the medical aspects of my problem, and I'm sure he has the intelligence that he needs for the job, but I gave him one star because of his horribly deficient people skills.

This doctor SUCKS to say the least. They do not care about their patients well-being only the money they take from them. Stupid office staff. Do Not take a chance and trust your life with these careless fools.

Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor in my life. I came in with symptoms of terrible pain attacks in the area of my liver/or where my gallbladder used to be, and I was met with pure condescension. I was not only having anxiety over what it could be, but constant fear of another attack hitting. I got ZERO compassion and ZERO help, and it sure didn't cost ZERO dollars. he has a rude almost cruel way about him. On a total power trip. Just look elsewhere!

Dr. Sanders is the only reason I've continued as a patient in his office. His office staff is at best forgetful, and worst apathetic of patients. I've had to call 4 and 5 times on multiple occasions for test results, and still not received my reaults. On one memorable occasion I called back to schedule a test requested of the Dr and was refused bc the Scheduler was not the one who left a message for me to call. She made the Dr schedule the appointment for her.
