Office staff never returns calls?
Dr. Pernicoff is a caring person and very good surgeon but his office staff doesn't return calls or do referrals. It's very frustrating to have to call 3 or 4 times to get the job done.

Dr Pernikoff is very knowledgeable, competent, and thorough in learning about all my symptoms and concerns; and he is genuinely friendly and down to earth. He patiently answered all my questions and thoroughly explained his diagnosis. Also, I did not have to wait long to see him. I highly recommend him. Tom Fitzpatrick Harveys Lake

I woild recommend Dr. Pernikoff to others and would advise them that he seems to be a workaholic spending a lot of time at the hospital with patients. When I was in the hospital for surgery he was often there late at night and also in the early morning. I believe he is very experienced and knowledgeable.

Dr. Pernikoff is an amazing surgeon & a compassionate, caring doctor. Anyone that has a different opinion of him, hasn't been his patient! I went in the hospital with a blood clot that ruptured my bowel & was in there for almost a week before I asked for Dr. Pernikoff to be my Dr. He knew what the problem was before he even saw me, just by reading my records from the other Drs. He performed a bowel restructuring along with a hernia removal a few years later & both times he was a 1st class man!

Dr. Pernikoff performed my surgery in 2001 and I still remember him as a caring doctor AND person. He was going on a family vacation at the time but stayed behind until he was sure I was doing well. How many doctors would do that? He is thorough and also easy to talk with. I also think he always projected a positive outlook. I recommend him without hesitation. I actually need to see him soon.

Was brought in as second surgeon to repair a perforated bowel by initial surgeon. Failed to keep family informed. At one point he told us he would be right back that he had to look at the charts. After about thirty min. when he did not return we found out from nurses desk that he left. Failed to return phone calls. Failed to take actions to surgical repair a perforated bowel. Forget about seeing him from Friday to Monday. Worst experience I have had with any doctor in my life.

Dr Pernikoff is a wonderful doctor. Excellent top notch surgeon, very compassionate and kind. He does not do surgery unless needed. He truly cares about his patients and treats each one as if they were his family member. Wish every doctor was as great as him.
