I trust Dr. Jones because he was able to figure out what was going on with me when I was having symptoms due to a drug interaction from two medications I was prescribed by another physician. His office will always have my trust after this. He was able to explain the reason for the interaction and that I should only be on one medication or the other, but not both. I have been very happy with him and his staff.

I had been treated by another Dr successfully for years. I moved to Cumming and began seeing Dr Jones. I would answer his questions about what was going on in my life and he consistently make comments on morality based on his beliefs. He wasn’t listening to what I was saying. He was only looking for the next opportunity to interject his personal beliefs. I am conservative and he made me feel as if I was a social pariah.

Dr. Lanier is terrible. I tried 3 meds but had bad reactions. Lanier then dropped me as a patient saying she couldn't help me. I couldn't find a psych. that would take new patients so i called Lanier back because I was having extreme anxiety but she didn't care and would not help me. It amazes me that in her profession, she has no concern for people in such a fragile state. I guess she just wants smooth sailing through her work day and doesn't want to put any effort into really helping people.

I've been going to this office once a month for over 10 years, and haven't actually seen a Psychiatrist in the past 6. Monthly visits cost me about $300, I'm talking to a nurse, and the visit lasts less than 15 minutes.

My wife needed to have a prescription filled and she was told by her doctor it would be. When we went to the pharmacy we found out the prescription was not filled.(Called in)We then tried to call the after hours service heard a message and then hung up on. My wife is now out of meds for tonight which is not acceptable. What kind of doctors answering service especially a psychiatric one hangs up on their patients in need. this happen multiple times. There was no way to talk to a live person

He's a billing machine. You never/rarely see the doctor, you come in and see a nurse practitioner for 5-10 minutes and get billed for an hour. They keep you coming back again and again and squeeze as much insurance money out of you as they possibly can. No compassion or concern, just about making money.

I visited GA Behavioral Health because I moved too far from my previous doctor and needed to continue getting prescription. Making the appointment was a huge pain from insurance to getting in touch with the "new patient coordinator" who didn't return calls. They gave me an impromptu drug test to which I false positived for METH. The nurse was extremely accusatory and had been searching for a confession the entire session, it turns out. Didn't even see the Dr, and they think that's normal. Awful.

Dr. Jones is basically inviable in this practice. No compassionate employees in office. They drop patients that they no longer want to deal with. Stay away!

Would NOT recommend Dr Jones. Any level of compassion and understanding was totally lacking. In an emergency situation he did not even have the courtesy to speak directly to me--I could only speak to office staff who were even less compassionate than Dr. Jones.
