Negligent
I requested Dr. Barbara Ziogas, MD complete a homebound education form for my son in April 2022 when he was in an intensive outpatient program after diagnosis with amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome (AMPS). He could not attend school and the program at the same time. She never completed it. 8 months later, December 2022 after I asked the Director of Special Services for the district to speak with her, she finally refused to complete it before even speaking to me about the medical and psychological reasons for which it was currently being requested, any of his 3 in-home ICAAPS therapists, his developmental pediatrician or the DCF social worker from whom I learned that she had refused to complete the form as she couldn’t even do me the courtesy much less fulfill the professional responsibility of telling me. I find her behavior inexcusable & egregious particularly as it is from the physician trusted with advising Farmington Public Schools and other school districts.

As a first time parent I was going crazy looking for a pediatrician for my newborn. Dr. Ziogas was recommedned to me by a friend of mine. I have never been happier!!! Eleven years and two kids later, we are still with Dr. Ziogas! She is a very caring and compassionate person. I highly recommend her as a pediatrician.

You will not find a more thorough, compassionate, responsive and knowledgeable pediatrician. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Ziogas. She cares for both my teen and nine year old. She talks to them and is always learning new things to share with us. Easy to get in to appointments but you may have to wait a little since she takes her time with each patient to listen, examine and provide the information you need.

Dr Z sees my children on weekends, takes calls all hours of the night and never turns us away. She truly loves her patients more than herself. I feel like she’s apart of my family. I trust her without question.

My first impression of the physician office ; the ambience was very child friendly with ample books, toys and wall paintings . Dr Ziogas actually didn't diagnose a thrush in the mouth in spite of clearly knowing that our toddler was on antibiotics prescribed for her ear infection and we in fact clearly told that she was showing her mouth every time as if burning every time she ate something..despite that she didn't diagnose and she recommended to go to ER.

if not for dr. Barbara ziogas my nine-year-old would not be able to see! She discovered Nora had Latent nastagmass when she was barley two!!!You don't know fear until you are told if this had not been caught by Dr. Ziogas, and started wearing glasses, she could be blind! All my friends I have sent there feel the same way.Its pathetic that ex-ployees who were mean, try to retaliate...or teenagers.Take it from a middle aged woman, this is Thee doctor you want if your child gets sick!
