Great Doctor
Barbara Spivak has been my PCP for more than 20 years. I was cruising for something else and noticed that her rating on this site isn't valid from my experience. She is a wonderful doctor. She pays attention, and is available for any off hours problems or important questions. I love that she's not an alarmist, and will explain why something isn't worth worrying about. Before there were hospitalists, I had two four night stays at Mount Auburn hospital. Both were due to emergency accidents, so Dr Spivak wasn't the admitting physician. But she stopped by my room daily to check up on me. She is a very caring, fabulous doctor.

I have had Dr. Spivak as my primary care for 3 years and never seen her in person. Her NPs and PAs have performed all physicals at a low quality.
