Dr. Barbara Rowland, MD

Dr. Rowland is very knowledgeable about women's health issues. She is efficient, but also takes the time to discuss what is important to her patient. I always feel that she has given me the best medical care and that she understands my concerns or issues. She truly listens.

Dr. Rowland was professional and friendly. I cannot say anything exceptional about her but nothing bad either. It was an average visit. The downside about visit was not the doctor but the wait time. I was asked to arrive 20 minutes early for my 10:50 appointment to update my info which only took 5 minutes, then I had to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment (until 11:10) before I was taken back to an exam room. 40 minutes of wait time in lobby is too long.

Seen as scheduled, no problems, wonderful staff, courteous, professional and caring. Highly recommend Dr. Rowland, the best.

Dr. Rowland provides quality, professional and personal service and did not make me feel rushed. She has a very pleasing bedside manners.

I have been seeing Dr. Rowland since I moved here 12 years ago. I have a very complex medical history and she has ALWAYS been there, coming in early for an emergency appt. the next day, giving me referrals for other doctors, always responsive to every phone call! Best of all she is an incredible person, she listens beyond just "doctor talk", I can make her laugh, and she takes as much time as necessary to talk about women's issues as I approach 70. When many doctors give Medicare patients a quick once over she never disappoints me with her time, patience, and feedback. She is absolutely invaluable for my health CARE.

Dr Rowland is such a wonderful doctor. She’s very caring and understanding. She listens to her patients and gives them knowledgeable advice to the best of her ability. I would definitely recommend anyone seeking a great doctor to see her if possible. The whole staff are great.

I love her. She performed my dehiscence after my previous doctor’s c-section. I would have died if she and her team members hadn’t stepped in. She will be my OB-GYN for as long as she’ll allow. Very knowledgeable, respectful, thorough and personable. All around great doctor.

Dr. Rowland is knowledgeable and professional. She takes the time to answer any questions. She is also very personable and makes the effort to get to know her patients. She delivered my baby via cesarean section. I felt safe and informed during the procedure, and I received wonderful follow up care.

I had been trying to schedule a new patient appointment since October and was told during each call to call back at various dates as the calendar would open up for new patients. I just got off the phone and was told they are now only taking new patients by referral. I wasted 8 weeks time trying to schedule. I am new to the area and was relying on my insurance providers list of good doctors. Outcome was not what I expected and would not recommend new patients to contact this practice.

Dr Rowland is wonderful. She is an excellent listener, superb bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. She really takes the time to best understand the whole person. I would highly recommend her.
