Dr. Barbara Farrell, DO

I started seeing Dr. Farrell two years ago after my son was born and I had lingering complications and a new auto-immune diagnosis. She has been such a light in the darkness of my health journey for the past two years. Dr. Farrell has offered compassionate, person-centered, thoughtful care to me and my husband as we deal with chronic health issues. She is a great listener and is very personable. She helps us think holistically about how we can approach and treat our physical issues. You can tell she truly cares about us and her other patients. She is thorough in her work and follows through to help us when we've experienced issues with referrals to specialists. Her med-tech Shannon is also wonderfully warm and personable. I honestly wish Dr. Farrell could be my doctor for everything I ever need!

My initial visit was rushed, normally a doctor will at least act interested in meeting a first time patient. Second visit after discussing my visit, I started to ask a question. She interrupted me and said please make this brief, I have other patients waiting. Won’t be back for a third visit!!!

There's a reason Dr. Farrell has a full 5 star rating, and she absolutely deserves it. I've been seeing her for a few years now, and even though I moved further from her office, I still gladly make the drive to see a PCP who is as compassionate and caring as she is. I have never felt more heard in a doctor's office as I do when I see Dr. Farrell. She's the type of person who is in medicine for the right reason. 10000/10, do recommend.

Dr. Farrell is the most detailed and caring Dr. that I have ever had. She takes time to listen to her patients and really wants to help them. I would recommend Dr. Farrell without hesitation. She has really helped me and my family.

Dr Farrell is the best primary care physician that I have ever had. She really takes the time to understand what is going on with my health, she is very thorough and doesn’t leave anything to chance. I highly recommend her to everyone. I have referred several colleagues to her and they all report back that she is the best!

She. Is. AMAZING! She listened to me! She gave me her undivided attention. She took the time to allow me to tell her all about my many aches, pains, and health problems. She was so thorough in ordering the many tests that I needed. After all the testing was done, she took all the time that was needed to explain every single test result. When, at the end of the visit, she asked, "Do you have any questions?" I had nothing left to ask because she had already answered every question that could think of. I left her office with a packet of papers - the results of every test done - along with a synopsis in layman's terms describing each issue, what it is, what to do and not to do to treat it. She even included a personal note of encouragement. She has referred me to countless specialists to help me deal with my health situation. I have never in my life felt so confident that I have found one of those rare creatures who chose to become a doctor because they truly wanted to help people be well.

I also went to Dr. Farrell at Nova Southeastern Clinic and found her to be very knowledgeable and thorough. She is easy to talk to and you feel she is actually listening to you. You do not feel rushed and you feel you are getting the care you need. I will be making my next appointment at her new office without a doubt.

I went to see Dr. Farrell at the Nova Southeastern Clinic in Davie, FL. I find that she is extremely competent. She is so nice and easy to get along with. I was proud of her as my doctor. Not only does she give relevant information: She also gives great hugs.
