Dr. Barbara Dull, MD

1) gave me false hope my tumor “might be nothing” AFTER radiologist told me it was almost certainly malignant2) told me definitively that a lumpectomy would be adequate which would have left me terribly disfigured and needing additional surgery (fortunately I went with my gut and requested mastectomy)3) told me definitively that I would not need radiation if I had a mastectomy which was completely false so my reconstruction (and my medical leave) were ruined4) missed a macromet (visible to the naked eye) in my sentinel lymph node during mastectomy and told my family post-op that I was in the clear 5) never discussed cording or PT with me6) described hormone therapy as “one little pill each day and if it gives you mood swings you can switch to a different one” - NO mention of severe menopausal side effects7) patronized me, gaslit me, misdiagnosed me, minimized my experience, and NEVER took ownership of any of it. She made ZERO effort to check on me or find out why I left her care

Dr Dull is the best. She is knowledgeable, kind, caring and personable. Takes time with you if you have questions or concerns, doesn't make you feel like she is rushing you out the door to get to the next patient. That is important to me,

Dr Dull answered my questions and, even more importantly, listened to my ideas for moving forward. You have no idea how much that means to me,..

Dr Dull came across as experienced and knowledgeable in her coverage of the diagnosis and treatment options. She was also able to go over the review in layman's terms to ensure my understanding of the situation and options. She was open to questions and also was able to answer them right away and made recommendations to help me with the decision making on the treatment options. I would happily recommend her to anyone I know, although I hope I would not have to.

I cant say enough about Dr. Dull. She was very warm and personable and took her time to explain my biopsy results and next steps to surgically excise and biopsy my mass. She listened to me and answered any questions I had. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Dull from the start and knew I was in the best hands.
