Dr. Barbara Dahl, MD

I went into the emergency room with recurring worsening issues as directed by my Primary care doctor. I was hustled to my room with two nurses already asking me a million questions that i repeated answers to. While those two nurses were taking vitals another primary nurse came in and started asking the same questions. All nurses left the room and Dr. Dalh came in asking the same questions as she was examining me she asked me about my imaging and I said I don't know the imaging was done here can you look at my chart. I started crying harder and said I just want to be able to pick up my baby. She said she was getting me meds to which I said I couldn't have nsaids like they tried to give me last time. She said i didn't say I was gonna give you that but why? I ended up leaving the hospital before further treatment cause this doctor didn't care about me. Doctor did not appropriately update my chart when I left and then after complaint about it said i was cursing at her which was a lie.

Despite being in the middle of passing a kidney stone, it was impossible to not notice Dr Dahl's empathy and compassion. When you are really hurting that human touch actually becomes a tangible for of pain management
