She is a lifesaver
Dr Boyer knew something wasnt quite right when checking a cystmy neck. Turned out to be a form of non hotchins lymphoma. She was my primary doctor until she moved to Monterey. I have not been so comfortable with a doctor since. Miss you Doctor Boyer.

She’s an amazing listener and a compassionate, open minded, skilled, wise physician. She calls me back personally when I have a problem. Her staff is helpful. After having cancer I feel very safe having her on my team.

As several other reviews say, she is rude and has a huge ego although she is thorough and methodical. She will aggressively push her opinion on you whether it is in your best interest as a patient. She took me off a medication cold turkey that is known to be incredibly dangerous to be taken off of suddenly (which I had previously expressed concerns about to her) and I became bedridden for months. If you contest her opinions/decisions she goes on and on about how she's been in practice for 25+ years and knows better than you. She admitted that my medical conditions were outside her expertise, then at the next appointment, she decided that all of my issues were due to some unfounded "anxiety" and that I had done all this to myself out of laziness- despite my medical history and exams proving otherwise. She said this while smirking/laughing and was incredibly disrespectful. Promptly switched doctors.

She did not listen and was rude after I informed her I was medically discharged from the Army; she said “after you were booted out of the military...”. My husband spoke up and corrected her by informing her I was HONORABLY, MEDICALLY DISCHARGED. Thank God my husband was present. I also have MS to which she said she knows nothing about. I will find some other doctor. Ironically she did her internship at military hospitals. Her residency was also at a military hospital.

She doesn't spend enough time with patients and does not have sufficient knowledge. She did not take my condition as seriously as I would have liked her to and was frankly very rude towards me. I would not refer her to anyone.
