Dr Akoto
Dr Akoto is an excellent doctor. She diagnosed a condition that I had suffered with for over 10yrs. She always listened to my ailments and diagnosed them and prescribed the necessary medications. She referred me to specialists according to the results of the extensive examinations and testing. She is sorely missed. I am truly concerned because I am a 70yr old woman without a PCP.

my opinion
1. i dislike the having to wait up to 2 days just to get a response to a message 2. really don't like how long u have to wait in the waiting room and in the exam room just to speak to the doc 3. its really damn hard trying to get a in person visit and i don't like that 4. there needs to be a faster way to get a response back on any question u send in 5.sometimes i feel the doc just doesn't care

My brother almost died
My brother had significant stomach pains went to Dr Akoto and she minimized his symptoms. Called 24 hours later and attempted to schedule with Dr. Akota. We contacted her via urgent and he was given an appointment several days later via telehealth. Conditions worsen and a trip to the ER resulted in discovering a ruptured aneurysm in my brother 's abdomen. If he did not arrive to the ER when he did he would not have made it. I don't recommend this so-called internal medicine practitioner.

This doctor does nothing but milk patients for co-pays.She mis-diagnosed me for one issue and ignored another issue. The mis-diagnosis resulted in her telling me to ignore the issue because it would eventually go away. It gradually worsened. I insisted on the second opinion to which she told me I would be wasting my time and I finally am without pain for the first time in a year. Cannot recommend.

she is a great dr. but she could use some dr help. sometimes the wait is long. I was there almost two hours before i got out. the appointment was at one tine but 30 min after my appointment time then i get into a room, then i have to wait 30 more min to see her. then she takes almost 7 min with me and then i am waiti9ng 30 more min for a nurse to come in and draw my blood. just crazy.
