Good at first
My first few appointments went well. He took me off a med that I shouldn’t have been on that a previous doctor put me on. And then slowly took me off another one that was a temporary one. But when I tried to switch to a different antidepressant because I felt like it wasn’t working anymore, he was very against it. It was like convincing a toddler to go to bed. And I’ve never really truly felt comfortable enough to fully open up to him. I just feel so awkward with him.

Pluses & Minuses
I’ve been to this fella for several years and I still don’t have a read on him. So I have one prescription that I know works, that I received prior to switching to him as my psych doc. He’s pretty good about listening to you, and for the most part, unhesitant to continue meds that are effective (or prescribing additional ones). That’s all good. He’s got a positive demeanor, even if he’s a little intimidating for a mental health doctor. I guess the big problem is, I don’t see a lot of progress. He doesn’t easily try new meds and methods, he’s not proactive in your treatment or moving your treatment forward. He’s just sort of like, “Hello! Need refills? See you in 3 months!”

Horrible Dr.
Dr Singh is very narcissistic. If you advocate for your own Health, he gets very mad that you would even think to question his treatment plan. The only reason why I gave him 2 stars is because of the girls in the front office. They are all wonderful.

I cannot stand this narcissist of a man. I unfortunately worked with him for years because I basically had nowhere else to go, and he never once made me feel comfortable. I made it CLEAR that i did not feel comfortable talking to him, and he never once tried to change his approach. He did whatever I told him I wanted. He was basically just a signature for my prescriptions. He did NOT help me. He kept me on one SSRI/SNRI after another for years and it was only keeping me depressed. I finally suggested I go off them altogether (something he did NOTHING TO WARN ME OF), and hes like "oh yea good idea!" I had my last appointment with him after I had been off my meds for a bit and I said well im pretty sure they were keeping me depressed and it makes me think my problem is not "chemical." So he just said "great! So we can terminate things now?" I was kind of surprised, thinking that I would still be able to call him if I ever needed anything (I told him I was incredibly suicidal among ot

He is nothing more than a pill pusher. He knows next to nothing about why you're there but gladly hands out pills. You spend maybe 10 minutes with him.
