Blood clots
A BiG shout to Dr Chahal and his office staff for saving my life. I walked up to the receptionist and asked to see the Dr and she could tell I could barely breathing. I think she called out a code and someone came to the door and took me back. A oxygen sensor was put on my finger and when Dr Chahal read it he called out ER and Ambulance.I had three larger blood clots and several small ones. Three days laying on my back while meds were pumped thru my body. One line went thru my heart to my lung. I had a clot in left lung, right lung and behind my left knee. I can’t say enough good things about my daughter Wendee Day Coon and my sister Billie Day Jouett for being with me the whole time.

Dr. Chahal was my admitting physician at Tomball HCA hospital in September of 2021. I was at the absolute lowest point of my life and seriously ill due to Covid. I was admitted with severe chest pain as well as a secondary complication- bacterial Pneumonia. I was literally fighting to breath and coughing up blood. In our first encounter, Dr Chahal looked me straight in the eyes and told me that he had "personally survived Covid before the vaccine was even available." I am eternally grateful to God for placing Dr. Chahal on my team of Doctors. He along with his colleagues using their skills and wisdom literally saved my life and encouraged me to keep fighting. Five stars!!!

The Dr seemed fine as the primary during my stay at North Cypress until it came time for my discharge. The 3 Main prescriptions i needed for my covid recovery were conveniently left off. He did not seemed thrilled that they were discharging me after about 3 weeks. It seemed like he felt he was losing a cash cow. He did a fairly good job during my stay and probably even saved my life but he fell apart at the discharge stage.

He doesn't remember what he is told: he cannot explain why he makes medical decisions...and then he does things without information and asking the patient; let alone waiting to verify if what he has done has improved or cause further damage to the unsuspecting patient. he also calls in other like minded culture, customs language...when it is not the patients.. they do not inform the patient what is going on which blatantly contradicts PATIENTS rRights and SURVIVAL..when multiples do not communicate are in and out..usually disability or Death due to just in and out..doing, without verification.

I initially was referred to Dr. Chahal because of wife. I normally hate to going to the doctor's office because the extended wait times in the waiting room. Well I was very surprised at how smooth and timely the process took. I was seen no later than 30 mins after my scheduled visit. He took his time with explaining what was going on and gave me several options to treat it after he got my diagnostic results. Although its quite a drive from my house I will continue to see him.

I absolutely love Dr. Chahal and his staff. The office staff are always professional and attentive. Anytime I have a question or need my results they follow-up promptly. He has great bedside manners and is very attentive to my concerns. I never feel rushed. They also now have a lab on site to draw blood work which is a plus for me.

My first time having surgery in N Cypress hosp and dr Chahal was attentive, kind, professional, very understanding towards my wishes for no blood as a Jehovah's Witness. He related a tender personal patient-to-Doctor story so moving that as tears swelled in his eyes he continued confessing that the relationship turned into a friendship and not aware he was encouraging me with strength to make it through my ordeal. He seems sincere and caring.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Chahal?
Dr. Chahal treated mother while she was in the hospital with a UTI and dehydration . He was very condescending and difficult to talk to. He over sedated her to the point that she was too weak to feed herself. When I expressed my concerns, his response was, do you want me to put a feeding tube in her? He was asked by several members of my family to cut back on the sedatives. He did not listen and increased the dosage in her orders once she left the hospital. She never recovered.
