I was assigned her as a new PCP after my previous one changed offices. I went in for a Cardiac clearance for Adderall as requested by my long-term Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Within 30 seconds of entering the room, Dr. Tabarsi immediately started with an aggressive "So I see you have high blood pressure, do you even NEED to be on Adderall?" I'm pretty sure a provider I've been seeing for ELEVEN years would know me better than you, who has seen me for less than a minute, but thanks. She was extremely dismissive of my explanations of my mental health history and openly disparaged my PNP for not ordering these tests to conduct herself. The PNP just likes to make sure our complete health picture is being focused on, so she orders these from the PCP. Tabarsi let me get the EKG I needed, but openly stated her refusal to give the approval the PNP asked for, causing a delay in a crucial medication refill.
