Dr. Babatunde Olaiya, MD

I have struggled with GI issues most of my life, and we have a ton of autoimmune diseases, including ulcerative colitis, in my family. We recently moved to Pennsylvania so I needed to find a new gastroenterologist here and ended up seeing one at a different facility first who put me on a medication that every other doctor told me never to take and was only treating my symptoms instead of trying to figure out what was causing my issues. My PCP referred me to Jackson Siegelbaum for better care & I was blessed to be one of Dr. Olaiya’s patients. I have never had a doctor make me feel more heard or seen than this doctor. Even while he was over at his computer, if I would start speaking again, he would back away from his desk and come and listen to every word I said. I have a lot of confidence that he will finally be the doctor that’s able to help me and I cannot thank him enough for being one of the doctors left out there that truly listens and makes his patients feel cared about.
