Dr. Babar Mirza, MB BS

I had an appt. with Dr Mirza in November for a routine appt. I received two daily medications from him previously in September. Just today when I went to renew my prescriptions, both each with 3 refills, I was told by Walgreens that Dr. Mizra closed out my prescriptions on the day of my appointment in November. There was no discussion of this in November and I was not aware in any manner. When I called the OLD BRIDGE office today, the office staff is just short, nasty and uncooperative. She tells me the doctor would never close prescriptions but IRONICALLY, Walgreens had the date of cancellation and it was the date in November that I saw Dr. Mirza. She said they would ask for new refills. I asked how will I know they are approved by your office. She told me I guess you can find out when you go to Walgreens... Overall, he was an OK doctor but it is worth avoiding the OLD BRIDGE office. The front desk staff there is just miserable people. I guess you get what you pay for...

The doctor is so so, not very helpful. Somewhat condescending, but his office staff is even worse. Very rude and nasty

The doctor is wonderful and caring, but his office staff is unprofessional and lacks understanding, empathy and urgency. I called the office 4 times because my mother who is terminally Ill needed a referral for hospice. I spoke with three different people beginning at 9 am and I’m still waiting for a call back 9 hours later. Something should be done.

Dr Mirza has been my fathers primary care physician for probably almost 30yrs. He has always been a great doctor to my dad

Dr Mirza is polite, he listens well, step by step in examination, informing patient on observations. He has good "Bedside Manner" and is truly engaged in his patients' care. He explains diagnosis, and treatment options so patient can choose the direction of treatment, and care they prefer. He answers questions clearly. He does follow up care.

The staff in Old Bridge is bad. They dont know what they doin. The Doctor is Ok.

Poor he walked out of room when I was telling him my issues DO NOT SEE him he is rude and nasty he is no better than

i went to Dr Mirza because he was so conveniently located. When I went to the office, the reception has an attitude, so I went back for a physical, the nurse was friendly, the Dr was pretty quick and didnt talk much. But all that would have been fine if I didnt get a bill from them a couple of months later saying my Ins didnt cover physicals, which was wrong...after back and forth w/ my ins co, the office they sent my balance to collections without even a phone call. Terrible way to operate

He's rude made we wait one month for a appointment than when I finally met him he asked me why I wanted to switch to him from my previous dr while in the patient room that was his first question to me is why don't you wanna See old dr I shared with him I had a bad experience with her he's response was sorry I can't help you I am not taking new patients as i was leaving I asked him why did u waste my time and have me come here for a appointment he said this office has lots of problems
