Dr. Babac Vahabzadeh, MD

Dr V is a brilliant dr who cares deeply about his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of HI issues. He listened to me when I told him I wanted to not be on a lot of meds and respected my wishes. He continues to stand by my side seeking ways to cure my colitis. I trust him completely.

I was assigned to Dr. V in the hospital after treatment for abdominal pain. It took a while for us to click but he was very patient with me. He just kept trying until we found the"cure"for my chronic diarrhea. Never spent a lot of time waiting.After a couple of years I remain diarrhea free! Thanks Dr. V

I saw Dr. Vahabzadeh for help with stomach pain and many other issues after researching GI doctors in the southern Metro area. I'm writing this review because I found him to be compassionate, kind, up to date, knowledgeable and approachable. His gentle care through a dreaded colonoscopy and endoscopy ended my worries and I am back to normal again with his guidance. Don't hesitate to trust in him if you're having issues.

As my elderly father's medical "memory," I accompanied him to all his medical and dental appointments. Other than his short-term memory issue, he was a pretty healthy guy until shortly before his death at age 91, when he was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. After a procedure to insert a stent, I was very unhappy with the care he had received, and sought a second opinion on (and more information about) that procedure. Dr. V was very clear and informative with my father and me. I was grateful.

I became a patient of Dr. Vahabzadeh in September 2017. I had recently moved from Florida and had lost 30 lbs. since March from a gastroenterology condition. My two physicians in FL were unable to diagnose my condition. After one procedure, Dr. Vahabzadeh was able to diagnose and prescribe a treatment plan that has allowed me to eat solid foods again and to gain back the weight I had lost. Dr. Vahabzadeh is a knowledgeable and caring physician and I highly recommend him.

Was having serious gastroenterology issues and was refered to Dr. Vahabzadeh. I have been extremely satisfied with his work. Not only has he helped solve all my issues but he takes the time to make sure I feel confident and educated to make decisions on my own. I look forward to continue being a patient of his for both follow ups and surgeries.

I came to Dr. Vahabzadeh after years-long disaster with two GI specialists in Denver. When I first met Dr. Vahabzadeh, I had fears, questions, and distrust of doctors. My symptoms are atypical, frustrating, and very painful. He has been right there with me, as we faced the many challenges getting to the correct diagnosis and the appropriate treatment plan. I put my trust in Dr. Vahabzadeh; have never had reason to regret it. And I continue to be grateful for him, his skills, and his honesty.

Dr. V was great - very little wait time, he knew my history (was prepared), very personable and helpful.

Office denied my rx refill all weekend, then wouldn't tell me why. I went without necessary medications all weekend and came to find out that the dr requires a visit (so they can get a copay or fee) every 12 months. So because they didn't inform me of this, I went without the drug. I had to call in to find out why they refused the refill. They lied and then said I need to come in. Then the Dr was rude to me and refused to waive the office fee even though he admitted they were totally wrong!

Dr. V. is one of the best doctors I have had. He is understanding, takes the time to really understand what is going on, is sincerely concerned with whatever ailment is happening, and does a great job of getting the situation under control and corrected. Dr. V had a great sense of humour and that means a lot to me. With the illness I have, I need to have a sense of humour....and he is there right with me! :-) The only reason I am leaving Dr. V. is because I am moving out of state.

I have been seeing Dr. Vahabzedeh for two years for the diagnosis and treatment of microscopic colitis. He was very thorough throughout the diagnostic process and has been keen to find an excellent treatment plan. He's always prompt during appointments and takes my concerns into consideration.

It is very important to eel that your Dr. is actually listening to the specific problems you are having. Dr. Vahabzadeh has been treating me for over a year and I have never felt rushed when talking with him and have total confidence in him. He is engaged with you in trying to find answers, not just easy solutions! I highly recommend him!

I have seen Dr. Vahabzadeh for four years for treatment of asymptomatic Crohn's Disease. This has included three colonoscopies and many office visits. My case is unusual, and Dr. V has been extremely informative and thorough. His recommendations always come after much consideration, including discussions with colleagues, and he explains my situation to me in terms I can understand. Just as important, he listens to my concerns and thoughts too. Ideal patient-doctor relationship.

The nurse apologized for his rudeness when he did not introduce himself to me before the procedure. I was not given enough anesthesia and I felt sharp pain during my colonoscopy. No one I have EVER spoken to has ever felt any pain during s colonoscopy. I think he is incompetent.
