Compassionate and very competent doctor
Dr Alkatib has been my husband’s cardiologist for 2 years. In November 2024 he did an aortic valve replacement. The surgery was very successful! Dr Alkatib communicated with me throughout the process so that I was aware and comfortable with the process. A good man and an excellent Doctor.

Life Saving Surgeon
Dr. Alkatib performed an emergency aortic valve replacement on me approximately 1 year ago. He and his colleagues were quick to diagnose the problem and recommend next steps quickly and with my full understanding and engagement. Dr. Alkatib's calm and reassuring demeanor gave me confidence in him and the outcome. For the past year, I felt that i have regained 10-15 years of my life. Dr. Alkatib, Dr. Abeer Berry and the entire DMC Medical Team were caring and compassionate from start to finish. . I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Excellent Doctor
Dr Alkatib is very personable. His calm and reassuring manner makes the discussion of medical concerns considerably easier. Both my wife and I see Dr Alkatib. She left her doctor after visiting Dr Alkatib with me. Office is efficient and calm.
