I have been seeing Dr Khan for a few years… his office called today and cancelled my appointment… they told me he is retiring… end of discussion

I am absolutely & strongly recommending Dr. Khan to my family, friends, and someone who may be going through some type lung problems. Without Dr. Khan's exceptional patient care & health on top of the line with follow ups, and his strong determination & best effort for finding out what is wrong with my lungs and provides the correct medical treatment for it, I would have been dead by now with Bronchiolitis Obliterans Organizing Pneumonia (BOOP). Dr. Khan is the best & he is my life savior.

I met Dr Khan 3 years ago after I developed asthma at the age of 71. The disease worsened quite rapidly. I was diagnosed with severe persistent asthma. I had to be admitted to the hospital on several occasions for shortness of breath and coughing. Dr Khan recently a procedure on me called thermoplasty. This has changed my life dramatically. My breathing has improved tramendously and I am able to go for long walks. Dr Khan has saved my life !! Thank you.

Dr. Azhar Khan is simply amazing! I've been battling a sickness for almost a year, after seeing multiple doctors, and having an onslaught of tests performed, I had no answers. I was miserable. Dr. Khan got me in within 1 day, set down with me and did not rush me. His actual words were: "OK, start from the beginning." You really don't get that treatment from doctors nowadays! With the expertise and connections by Dr. Khan, I am finally seeing the light at the end of tunnel! He is brilliant.

I was Dr. Khan's last patient of the day, but he made me feel like the most important patient he had seen all week. He explained things thoroughly, and he took time to sit and talk and listen and communicate wonderfully. He showed the true nature of a healer, and he honestly did everything he could do to move me toward health. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.

Dr Azhar has a friendly, easy going demeanor. He seems truly concerned about my well-being. The only problem I have is that he is quick to order up a bunch of prescriptions and procedures without explaining why. Why do I have to use this Fluticasone inhaler? Why do I have to get a nebulizer? What condition are these treatments for? I spent an hour talking with him and his PA and left without a clue as to why I was given an inhaler, or why I would be getting a nebulizer machine delivered.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan for over 8 years. His treatment recomendations have improved my overall lung conditions. He is a very caring and concerned Dr. for my overall health. My resent visit to Mayo clinic he was the only specialist that I had that had the correct treatment. I would recommend him to everyone.
