Dr. Azam Farooqui, MD

Dr. Farooqui is thorough, compassionate, warmhearted, considerate and a great communicator (explains things in an understandable manner). Dr. Farooqui has a warm, positive, friendly personality and truly cares. Whenever I have questions or concerns, Dr. Farooqui responds in a timely manner. I totally have faith and trust in Dr. Farooqui as he guides me through my treatment of battling cancer. I am thankful that he is my doctor and highly recommend him.

Dr. Azam Farooqui at Ironwood Cancer and Research Center in Chandler, AZ has been my Oncologist for several months now. Following a surgical procedure to have a cancerous tumor removed and a lung cancer diagnosis, I met with Dr. Farooqui. He immediately suggested I be tested and found me to be a good Immunotherapy candidate. Under Dr. Farooqui's monitoring and guidance, I am more than happy to report excellent results. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Farooqui has proven to be a knowlegable professional who displays compassion towards his patients.

I have been a patient for a little over one year. Dr Farooqui is one of the most caring and conscientious doctors that I have ever been to. He always takes his time during my appointments, and explains tests and treatment in simple, but thorough language.

Dr. Farooqui is simply the best doctor we have ever seen. He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and takes a sincere interest in his patients. We saw him for a concerning 3cm lung nodule from a CT scan and he had additional tests and a biopsy scheduled for my wife within 2 days. Further, he call us personally with test results and next steps in her treatment. The nodule turned out to be active Valley Fever rather than cancer, but Dr. Farooqui continued to follow up with us even after referring is to a lung specialist for VF treatment. The office personnel also do a great job of scheduling and support.

Dr. Farooqui is a very caring person. Always there for questions and concerns. Calls as soon as tests results come in not leaving the patient and family wondering about results!! Would highly recommend him to my family and friends!!

I actually look forward to seeing this doctor. He is so courteous and so intelligent and insightful. He has helped me tremendously. He is very highly recommended. !!

Dr Farooqui was awesome to my sister. He was very kind and patient. My sister had several complications during her chemo and she was in and out of the hospital and emergency room several times. Dr Farooqui would go and visit her at both locations. When my sister started her treatment, Dr. Farooqui provided us with a thorough assessment of what to expect. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my sister. He was not only good to my sister, but to me as well. He provided me with his email in case my sister had any complications and contacted me quickly. I never had a doctor do that. I was very impressed and grateful. I hope I never get cancer, but if I do I want Dr. Farooqui to be my doctor.

Dr Farooqui and his MA Gracie are very professional and thorough. I had questions about what he told me about my blood and he explained them in a way I totally understood. Also he was concerned about the cough that I have and was going to send the results of my blood work to my Pulmonary doctor.

Dr. Farooqui is a very caring doctor. He always explains everything to you very thoroughly. He is always there for you when you feel down and he finds a better solution to make you feel better. He visits you when you're in the hospital. Now I don't have cancer, but I still have to do more visits from time to time. I just want to give him a great big THANK YOU!!!

Dr Farooqui is calm, patient, thorough and always takes time to completely explain the health issues. He answers all questions and makes sure that we understand and have no more questions.

I am a 'snow bird' and have been under Dr. Farooqui's care for over two years. Dr. Farooqui communicates and consults with my Oncologist 'up North' for any major decisions and he has always been spot-on with his advice and assessments. My family can't say enough about Dr. Farooqui. He's been an incredible support throughout our mother's battle with multiple forms of cancer. He is by far the best doctor...He LISTENS and answers questions...you are treated like the only patient he has...He and his staff are always available if you have questions or concerns after hours...all tests are discussed in person...alternatives for treatments are open and discussed...I feel he has my best interest as a patient at heart.

Dr, Farooqui is the most amazing dr. I have ever seen. He is so nice and really calms you. He answered all of my questions and was very quick to respond to emails when I had a concern. I wish I could go to him for all of my medical needs.

Dr. Farooqui is personal and professional. It is comforting when a Doctor actually listens to your concerns and symptoms but also is sympathetic in response. Professional and willing to collaborate with other professionals to obtain further knowledge so that he is treating his patient with a well rounded care plan. He keeps up with communication by appointments but also with correspondence via email in a timely matter. Dr. Farooqui and his staff is professional and friendly which is an atmosphere to have when dealing with a cancer diagnosis and treatments. I've seen many Doctors in my time dealing with cancer and Dr. Farooqui is by far the best!
