Bad Experience
A doctor's best skills involve listening and being curious. This doctor has neither of these qualities. I felt rushed and judged. The receptions was rude and cold, to match. I won't be going back for a followup, sadly for me because I need a good doctor to treat a complicated sleep disorder.

Arrogant doctor who ignores her patients. Rarely sees them. Poorly trained and aloof staff. Phone is rarely answered. Go elsewhere. Worst experience ever with medical personnel.

Bully arrogant
Took Dr almost a month to sign off on my sleep study so I could not order CPAP. The only reason I received it was I went into office on 3 occasions asking for copies and the last visit I refused to leave until I got it. I also told the staff if I didn't get it that day, I would report Dr to Attorney General and American Medical association. And she was still not the one who got it done one of her associated did. Front office staff and sleep study tech were very professional and caring people. She tries to bully you into doing what she wants.

What a Hot Mess!
I tried to work with Dr. Okcay for a year, and it was consistently terrible. My experience was that she did not listen at all. She interrupted and spoke over me, with conversation that was not anywhere close to accurate, not even the same subject. She refused to discuss my chief sleep concern. She tried to tell me how I felt and what I should be saying. She repeatedly failed to give me copies of my sleep studies. She uses an awful medical supply provider and refuses to cooperate with any others. She "required" impossible things and talked down to me like a disobedient child. Her billing department is insanely aggressive, and horribly inaccurate. Her patient portal doesn't work. Her app is worse. Her phones often go unanswered. She was consistently VERY late to appointments, without apology. AND, SHE REPEATEDLY THREATENED LOSS OF MY DRIVERS LICENSE whenever I disagreed or expressed a concern with her. I have zero driving issues - this was a bullying tactic. Just choose another doctor.

I suffered all my life from Restless Leg Syndrome. Dr Ockay is the only Doctor who finally understood this condition. She listened and asked many questions. I took a medication called Ropinerole and after a few years needed larger doses ....it quitted working and i went through hell on my feet 24/7. Today i seldom have an episode and when i do I take a medication that works perfectly. She is one of the few who specialize and trained at Mayo Clinic.

Arrogant. Tried to bully me into following her recommended course of treatment by suggesting (incorrectly) that my insurance would not cover my medication otherwise. Later admitted that the course of treatment was unlikely to address my sleep problem.

If you are interested, Dr. Okcay is re-locating near the Foot Hills Mall, which is centrally located and easy to access. Her new number is (520) 820-2736 and email address is “mysleepdr.com” For me, Dr. Okcay has been a true wonder. Two other local sleep specialists reviewed my 2017 overnight sleep study and did not correctly diagnose my sleep problem or prescribe the correct medication. Last month, Dr. Okcay reviewed my sleep study results and quickly and correctly diagnosed my problem and prescribed the exact medication and dosage that I needed. I have not slept better in years. Thank you Dr. Okcay . You are the best!
