Did not enjoy my time with him. I was seeing another psychiatrist at Sumter Psych. and unfortunately she had to leave due to health reasons. I was set up with Dr. Gray and had a horrible time. He pretty much told me that my diagnoses of Bipolar Disorder (by his colleague) was incorrect because most people are not actually Bipolar. He then proceeded to prescribe me a medication that I told him I had tried already and had not worked. He also prescribed me Ativan which resulted in a seizure.

Wonderful doctor! Very patient, caring, understanding, and genuine. He listens very well and does not doubt or question anything you say. I have never seen "judgement in his eyes". Was very comfortable with him and did not feel embarrassed or the need to justify my reasons for being there.

Dr. Grey is always great with my son, however his office staff is not. Today we had am appointment at 9:40, we checked in at 9:54. Yes we were 14 minutes late. If we had not been late, there would not have been a problem, HOWEVER......the front desk receptionist said that we were 20 min late and that there is a 15 min late cut off. We made the cut off time, but she lied, even though our check in time was clearly documented. The next patient in was 15 min late and we're still seen.

Dr. Gray is very attentive and calm. He makes you feel at ease and although he is amazingly intelligent in almost any subject, he is humble and makes things easily understandable to me.
