I went to Vanderbilt Bedford Monday and was seen by Dr. Mackens who was very personable and informative. I had fallen on my nose and even though I had no pain, just swollen nose and black eyes, he explained in detail that there could be damage to my face, head or neck even though I had no pain. I had a ct-scan and thankfully, no breaks. He spent time with us asking if we had any concerns or questions. We would highly recommend Dr. Mackens and give him 5 stars
