Great Pain Doctor
Telehealth
I don't do write a lot of reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experiences over the course of the past 3 years with Dr. Austin Churchill. Her specialty is pain management, and she is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine, which took additional training whist shadowing a pain management doctor. But, she is so much more than just another pain doctor. She is an outstanding physician who will get to the bottom of whatever your issues are--and she offers a number of options for best treatment outcomes. She has recently changed locations to Falls Church, and is now working at Cell Bionics Institute, partnering with Dr. Nameer Haider. Dr. Churchill recognizes that it is far easier to keep a mostly healthy body healthy, so she encourages her patients to make changes that support their bodies, whether that's additional PT, making sure one's hormones are balanced, or suggesting medical grade supplements that would be useful and are backed by scientific literature. To be clear,

Dr Churchill is a skilled diagnostician. She takes time to zero in on the issue and devises a plan for relief or referral to specialists as needed. I've been battling an issue for over 10 years that I'm FINALLY on target towards resolution or at least some plan of action!

This is the most chaotic, unprofessional, confusing medical practice I have ever encountered. The entire staff gets things mixed up every time. I will never go back there. Do you think at a pain management clinic they might turn down the noisy television in the waiting room? Or control the temperature so it's not overwhelmingly hot? Do you think the left hand might know what the right hand is doing? Not at this place. Out-of-network coinsurance, and for what? Just more aggravation.
