His staff is killing his practice, not worth it.
Apparently they have enough patients they feel they can be nasty and rude to anyone they want because 'we owe them attitude'. Bastrop Medical Clinic 'BMC' gets a F for their customer service. I'll never go back there again and will strongly suggest to my family and friends to find a better place to pay our hard earned money. Dr Batlle is a good doctor but his staff is killing his practice, not worth it.I called and spoke with the front desk to setup and appt. the lady said she couldn't find my records again. I explained I've been in there a few times in the past but couldn't remember the dates. She handed me off to another girl who the first girls said was Rose, but when I asked her for her name she said Lacett. She told me they aren't accepting new patients. I said I wasn't new. I needed an appt. She said because I'm not in the system I'm new. She told me to find someone else and to not call back. I explained I have been in there and had to Drs personal cell number he gave me. S

I had a well-woman visit with Jennifer Herbin, FNP-C. She was very thorough taking my history, informing and advising me of preventative and future care. She was caring, personable and comfortable to talk with in a professional manner. Great visit.

Love this Doctor! His views on healthy eating are refreshing and much needed in the medical community. Most doctors just prescribe drugs for your ailments. Dr Batlle encourages you to practice a healthy life style first, then utilize Rx if needed.

It is extremely challenging in today's world to find a physician who actually CARES ABOUT their patient. Dr. Battle is very thorough, pays attention to detail, and ensures that all of your medical needs are met. After practicing medicine for 20 years, I am very critical and highly recommend Dr. Augustin Battle. His support staff set an example for any medical office to emulate.

Dr. Batlle is amazing. His staff is courteous and accommodating and his office is clean and well kept. His bedside manner is easy and friendly (and sometimes humorous) and he takes plenty of time to talk with you and answer all of your concerns and questions. He also encourages and promotes healthy eating with a diet rich in vegetables, which is something that most doctors these days do not do. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Batlle is somewhat of an eccentric, but is knowleadgeable about medicine and He is an expert nutritionist. He also listens and is a kind and compassionate human being.
